The referee gave F.C.BABOIU79 a penalty, 11 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Laurențiu Goma, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Cujbeni's Mădălin Agachi. 1-0. In the 15th minute Francisc Şumălan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mădălin Agachi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 17 minutes into the match, Laurențiu Goma dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Mădălin Agachi, 2-0. F.C.BABOIU79's Calistrat Bota played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Bratiloveanu in the 24th minute of play. A collision led to Cujbeni getting a freekick after 30 minutes play. Cristinel Beraru hit a great ball. An unexpectedly hard shot by Tudor Aluneanu in the 33rd minute of play forced F.C.BABOIU79's goalkeeper Calistrat Bota to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 33rd match minute, F.C.BABOIU79 was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marian Tilea to maneuver through the defense. Laurențiu Goma sent away a hard shot on goal in the 39th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. In the 42nd minute of the match, Laurențiu Goma tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Mădălin Agachi saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. 46 minutes into the match, Cujbeni's goalkeeper Mădălin Agachi had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Damian Găvănescu. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 2-0 at half-time.

After some careless play in the Cujbeni defense, Francisc Şumălan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Agachi. The Cujbeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Agachi should have stopped the shot. After 58 played minutes Cujbeni got a freekick which was hit by Cristinel Beraru. In the 64th minute of the match Marian Tilea sent off a long shot with destination to the right of the goalkeeper, but Mădălin Agachi skillfully saved the ball. Calistrat Bota took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Mugurel Bratiloveanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After some careless play in the Cujbeni defense, Donn McBrand kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Agachi. The Cujbeni fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Agachi should have stopped the shot. In the 81st minute, Tudor Aluneanu made a precise shot to the right of Calistrat Bota. F.C.BABOIU79's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 4-1. F.C.BABOIU79's Laurențiu Goma got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Francisc Şumălan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 86th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mădălin Agachi having to interfere. Mugurel Bratiloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 87th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Calistrat Bota made an important save on a dangerous shot by Tudor Aluneanu in the 89th minute. Calistrat Bota didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Mugurel Bratiloveanu went, in the 92nd minute, to the upper right corner, 4-2 was the resulting score. An unexpectedly hard shot by Laurențiu Goma in the 96th minute of play forced Cujbeni's goalkeeper Mădălin Agachi to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball.
