If Tudor Aluneanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Tudor Aluneanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 8th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cernat having to interfere. 11 minutes into the match, Moise Zamfir notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Cujbeni's Mădălin Agachi. Mădălin Agachi was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Mugurel Bratiloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 16th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tudor Aluneanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 17th minute. Martin Cernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The audience thought a goal was coming when Tudor Aluneanu got free with Martin Cernat in the 20th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. 26 minutes into the game, Aron Mitică was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Fc. Grivita's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cujbeni the free kick. In the 25th minute, one of Fc. Grivita:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Fc. Grivita. Fc. Grivita:s Martin Cernat showed great skill when he stopped Mihnea Iosifian:s penalty. In the 28th minute of the match, Tudor Aluneanu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Martin Cernat was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Mugurel Bratiloveanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 31st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Mugurel Bratiloveanu in the 35th minute of play forced Fc. Grivita's goalkeeper Martin Cernat to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Mugurel Bratiloveanu in the 40th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Martin Cernat prevented the ball from getting in the gole. 42 minutes into the match, Fc. Grivita's goal looked a bit too open when Mugurel Bratiloveanu came free, but Martin Cernat reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Fc. Grivita's Martin Cernat played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Mugurel Bratiloveanu in the 44th minute of play. Tudor Aluneanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 46th minute of the match, but Martin Cernat made a huge save.

Mugurel Bratiloveanu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Martin Cernat read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 53rd minute of play. In the 55th minute, Gheorghe Baldovinescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After a defensive mix-up in Fc. Grivita's zone, Mugurel Bratiloveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Cernat came out of the goal and Mugurel Bratiloveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Mugurel Bratiloveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 62nd minute. Martin Cernat tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Mugurel Bratiloveanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 65th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cernat having to interfere. In the 66th match minute, Fc. Grivita was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Gigi Cucu to maneuver through the defense. Mugurel Bratiloveanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Martin Cernat took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Tudor Aluneanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. After a defensive mix-up in Fc. Grivita's zone, Mugurel Bratiloveanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Martin Cernat came out of the goal and Mugurel Bratiloveanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Cujbeni walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
