Fabian Grigorie fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Martin Cupșa having to interfere.

Vistruario Olazaran who was well placed in front of the goal fired away a dangerous shot that in the 55thth minute tested the skills of Mircea Stamatiu when he managed to save the team from getting behind. If Vistruario Olazaran had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 58th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 60 minutes into the match, FC Steaua Bucuresti's goal looked a bit too open when Fabian Ceaușu came free, but Martin Cupșa reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Vistruario Olazaran blasted a shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Mircea Stamatiu having to make a save. The supporters of Holod UFC booed when FC Steaua Bucuresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 91 match minutes in a wonderful position. Bogdan Isăilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Holod UFC's Flavius Perșa couldn't find anyone to pass the ball to, so he shot a long shot towards the goal in the 93rd minute. The shot went wide which resulted in a goal kick for FC Steaua Bucuresti. Fabian Ceaușu's late challenge caught a FC Steaua Bucuresti's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Fabian Ceaușu helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Holod UFC getting a freekick after 96 minutes play. Fabian Ceaușu hit a great ball. When the match was over FC Steaua Bucuresti could go home with a victory in their luggage, having controlled the game far better than Holod UFC throughout the match.
