Flavius Amuguroancei scored 0-1 in the 7th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Felix Hurezan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. After 9 minutes of play, Scoreiul's Octavian Protase made it 0-2 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Felix Hurezan was left in no man's land by his defense there! Felix Hurezan made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Felix Voican in the 14th minute of play. Dragoş Panescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Maxim Damian, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 18th match minute, Scoreiul was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Flavius Amuguroancei to maneuver through the defense. In the 20th minute Felix Voican shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Hurezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Damian received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Dragoş Panescu came out and tried to block the shot, but Maxim Damian slotted it home off the left post making it 1-2 in the 21st minute. Gigel Nechifor's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 24thth minute, Dragoş Panescu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. F.C Brasov's Felix Hurezan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Felix Voican in the 26th minute of play. Maxim Damian could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 28th minute of the match, but Dragoş Panescu made a huge save. When the match clock showed 34 minutes, the score became 1-4 when Felix Voican sped through F.C Brasov's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Felix Hurezan. 41 minutes into the match, Felix Voican notched a goal, 1-5, to the right of F.C Brasov's Felix Hurezan. Felix Hurezan was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Felix Hurezan showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Felix Voican in the 45th minute of the match. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-5 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Gigel Nechifor to make the kick off. Eugen Rădvan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dragoş Panescu having to make a save. F.C Brasov's Gigel Nechifor got a good chance for a goal in the 54th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dragoş Panescu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gigel Nechifor, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. Dragoş Panescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gelu Benga, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dragoş Panescu didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Gigel Nechifor went, in the 61st minute, to the upper right corner, 2-5 was the resulting score. In the 67th minute Eugen Rădvan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dragoş Panescu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Octavian Protase in the 70th minute of play forced F.C Brasov's goalkeeper Felix Hurezan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The audience thought a goal was coming when Felix Voican got free with Felix Hurezan in the 71st minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. The crowd rose to their feet as Flavius Amuguroancei kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Felix Hurezan. That made the score 2-6 in the 73 minute of play. In the 77th minute Flavius Amuguroancei shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Hurezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Gelu Benga in the 88th minute of play forced Scoreiul's goalkeeper Dragoş Panescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When F.C Brasov's Gigel Nechifor in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie.
