Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) Gigel Nechifor made the kick off and thus started the match. Tudor Elisei kicked well hit freekick during the 2nd minute of the match. Barboiul's Iulian Prezan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Eugen Rădvan in the 7th minute of play. Gigel Nechifor recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Niculae Ciorăscu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Felix Hurezan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eugen Rădvan in the 14th minute of play forced Barboiul's goalkeeper Iulian Prezan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 16th minute, Gigel Nechifor ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iulian Prezan was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-1. In the 18th minute Eliodor Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Hurezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 26 played minutes Barboiul got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Ţiriac. Felix Hurezan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Augustin Gârniceanu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 29th minute Eliodor Toacsen shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Hurezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 32 played minutes F.C Brasov got a freekick which was hit by Maxim Damian. Gigel Nechifor struck a weak shot in the 36th minute. Iulian Prezan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Brasov. In the 42nd minute, Barboiul's Augustin Gârniceanu ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Felix Hurezan. Felix Hurezan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. The supporters of Barboiul booed when F.C Brasov was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 47 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eugen Rădvan didn't get a good kick on the ball. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 1-1 after a close first half.
The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Eliodor Toacsen to strike the kick off in the second half. After having played for 52 minutes, Gelu Benga managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. F.C Brasov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Gelu Benga was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 54 minutes into the match, Barboiul's goalkeeper Iulian Prezan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Gigel Nechifor. An unexpectedly hard shot by Eliodor Toacsen in the 57th minute of play forced F.C Brasov's goalkeeper Felix Hurezan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 59th minute Niculae Ciorăscu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Hurezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After a rather tough play, F.C Brasov's Maxim Damian got a free kick in the 59th minute. Gigel Nechifor fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 62nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iulian Prezan having to interfere. Gigel Nechifor in the 65thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Iulian Prezan, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. Iulian Prezan was out of position in the 67 minute of play, and Gigel Nechifor capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Gigel Nechifor really showed his touch with that goal: 1-2. In the 70th minute, Gigel Nechifor got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Barboiul's Iulian Prezan proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Barboiul from getting a goal against them. In the 74th minute Gigel Nechifor shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iulian Prezan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Maxim Damian struck a weak shot in the 75th minute. Iulian Prezan didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for F.C Brasov. In the 79th play minute Gigel Nechifor came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Iulian Prezan. 1-3. Felix Hurezan didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niculae Ciorăscu went, in the 84th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-3 was the resulting score. Gelu Benga recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 88th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After 89 minutes, Fabian Trif mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Barboiul and the F.C Brasov players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Barboiul getting a freekick after 89 minutes play. Fabian Trif hit a great ball. After a defensive mix-up in Barboiul's zone, Codrin Braniște stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Iulian Prezan came out of the goal and Codrin Braniște tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 94th minute, Niculae Ciorăscu made a precise shot to the right of Felix Hurezan. F.C Brasov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 3-3. F.C Brasov were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
