Eduard Ţintea hit a great ball. 40 minutes into the match, Argesani's goal looked a bit too open when Aydın Aydın came free, but Iurie Mărăscu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Aron Dragomir sent away a hard shot on goal in the 42nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 47th minute Aydın Aydın shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Iurie Mărăscu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The fans had the chance to grab some refreshments as the whistle went for half-time. The score stood at 0-0 after a close first half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Aydın Aydın made a kick off. Aydın Aydıns short, quick shot in the 53rdth minute got Iurie Mărăscu to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. Iurie Mărăscu made a fantastic save in the 54th minute, when Aron Dragomir sent off a good shot on target. After some careless play in the Argesani defense, Gelu Taşcă kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Iurie Mărăscu. The Argesani fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Iurie Mărăscu should have stopped the shot. 0-2 became the score in the 62nd minute when Aydın Aydın elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Bogdan Ieremia kicked well hit freekick during the 67th minute of the match. In the 68th minute, Ruda's Aydın Aydın dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-3. After some fancy dribbling in the 72nd minute, Horea Humă managed to get in a good position for a shot. Argesani's supporters rose to their feet, but Horea Humă was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Valeriu Niculiță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 78thth minute of the game Aydın Aydın who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Argesani's Iurie Mărăscu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. If Aron Dragomir had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aydın Aydın fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iurie Mărăscu having to interfere. The Ruda fans' excitement grew in the 87th match minute when Ruda's Aydın Aydın looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 0-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. 90 minutes into the match, Ruda's goal looked a bit too open when Horea Humă came free, but Valeriu Niculiță reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Aydın Aydın got free with Iurie Mărăscu in the 93rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort.
