Cristian Melinte took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Bojonca, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 10 minutes into the match, Viorica's goalkeeper Cristian Melinte had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Paul Chelbea. Vlad Grămescu charged in rather forcefully in the 11th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Vlad Grămescu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Vlad Grămescu kicked well hit freekick during the 11th minute of the match. Delfim de Brito received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 12th minute. Romeo Dabija tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Empire Club Recea's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ernest Bojonca was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iustin Negrilă during the 43rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernest Bojonca to make the kick off. Delfim de Brito struck a weak shot in the 50th minute. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Paul Chelbea couldn't finish the play. In the 75th minute, Mirko Muzurović hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some careless play in the Viorica defense, Ernest Bojonca kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Cristian Melinte. The Viorica fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Cristian Melinte should have stopped the shot. In the 86th minute, Delfim de Brito made a precise shot to the right of Romeo Dabija. Empire Club Recea's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-2. In the 95th minute, Vlad Grămescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.
