Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Latesti's Iacob Creteanu started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The supporters of Latesti booed when Corus FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 4 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mădălin Ostoici didn't get a good kick on the ball. 7 minutes into the match, Iacob Creteanu had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Fabian Strugure. Corus FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iacob Creteanu was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 0-1. 11 minutes into the game, George Amandiței lined in a short shot 1-1 behind a frustrated Cornel Udurbac. Fabian Strugure didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Emil Brânzaș went, in the 17th minute, to the upper right corner, 1-2 was the resulting score. Fabian Strugure made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Calistrat Tastaman in the 22nd minute of play. Mădălin Ostoici did some fancy footwork in front of goal and succeeded to deceive the defenders so he could slam the ball in 2-2 to the left of a surprised Cornel Udurbac 24 minutes into the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Calistrat Tastaman during the 27th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 27th match minute, Latesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Tastaman to maneuver through the defense. In the 30th minute, Iacob Creteanu made a precise shot to the right of Fabian Strugure. Corus FC's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-3. 32 minutes into the match, Corus FC's goal looked a bit too open when Iacob Creteanu came free, but Fabian Strugure reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Corus FC's Fabian Strugure played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Iacob Creteanu in the 33rd minute of play. A collision led to Corus FC getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Mădălin Ostoici hit a great ball. Marcu Caraiman received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 41st minute. Cornel Udurbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 42nd match minute, Latesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iurie Albu to maneuver through the defense. In the 45th match minute, Corus FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cezar Jianu to maneuver through the defense. Fabian Strugure showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Bogdan Ştefănucă in the 46th minute of the match. In the 47th minute, Mugur Roșeanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal.

Ioan Agachi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Marcu Caraiman had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 56th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. The audience was convinced that Ioan Agachi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Cornel Udurbac was relentless in the 60th minute of the game. After 61 minutes of play, Corus FC's Marcu Caraiman made it 4-3 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Cornel Udurbac was left in no man's land by his defense there! In the 67th match minute, Latesti was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Calistrat Tastaman to maneuver through the defense. Mădălin Ostoici received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Cornel Udurbac tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Fabian Strugure was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Emil Brânzaș showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 4-4 in the 73 minute of play. In the 76th minute the ball was on its way in behind Latesti's goalkeeper Cornel Udurbac, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After a defensive mix-up in Latesti's zone, Manole Boc stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Cornel Udurbac came out of the goal and Manole Boc tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The Corus FC fans' excitement grew in the 80th match minute when Corus FC's George Amandiței looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 5-4 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 85th minute, George Amandiței ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Cornel Udurbac was frozen by the shot and now it was 6-4. Cornel Udurbac came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by Corus FC's Marcu Caraiman. But to his dismay, Marcu Caraiman quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-4. George Amandiței sent away a hard shot on goal in the 92nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Cornel Udurbac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ioan Agachi in the 94th minute of the match. 96 minutes into the match, Latesti's goal looked a bit too open when Mădălin Ostoici came free, but Cornel Udurbac reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by George Amandiței in the 97th minute of play forced Latesti's goalkeeper Cornel Udurbac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. There was no doubt that Corus FC were the better team. Corus FC's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
