After 3 played minutes Rominasi AS got a freekick which was hit by Iurie Brăiloiu. Cazimir Sărăroiu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Octav Cucerdean read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 11th minute of play. After a rather tough play, FC Verder Moisei City-MM-'s Silviu Lucănescu got a free kick in the 13th minute. After recieving a nice pass, Rominasi AS's Iurie Brăiloiu tried to score from far away in the 14th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Rominasi AS's goalkeeper Avram Ciocoiu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Nechifor Dorian sent away a hard shot on goal in the 34th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Nechifor Dorian in the 36th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Avram Ciocoiu saved Rominasi AS from getting behind. Nechifor Dorian received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 39th minute. Avram Ciocoiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Rominasi AS getting a freekick after 41 minutes play. Mugur Cupșa hit a great ball. Avram Ciocoiu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Nechifor Dorian's shot from short distance in the 43rd minute. Nechifor Dorian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

In the 51st minute, Nechifor Dorian left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The FC Verder Moisei City-MM- fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 1-0. Valentin Ilieș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 55th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Octav Cucerdean having to interfere. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nechifor Dorian in the 59th minute of play forced Rominasi AS's goalkeeper Avram Ciocoiu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Ovidiu Caranfil blasted a shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Ciocoiu having to make a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 67th minute, Nechifor Dorian managed to get in a good position for a shot. FC Verder Moisei City-MM-'s supporters rose to their feet, but Nechifor Dorian was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Avram Ciocoiu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. After a rather tough play, Rominasi AS's Radu Giubelean got a free kick in the 68th minute. After a defensive mix-up in Rominasi AS's zone, Ovidiu Caranfil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Avram Ciocoiu came out of the goal and Ovidiu Caranfil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 74th minute Nechifor Dorian shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Avram Ciocoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Valentin Ilieș sent away a hard shot on goal in the 76th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Octav Cucerdean took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Valentin Ilieș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Nechifor Dorian blasted a shot towards the goal in the 82nd minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Avram Ciocoiu having to make a save. A collision led to Rominasi AS getting a freekick after 83 minutes play. Gelu Latarețu hit a great ball. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Radu Giubelean during the 88th minute. If Ovidiu Caranfil had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 95th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. FC Verder Moisei City-MM- fully deserved thier win.
