The audience thought a goal was coming when Denis Ichim got free with Laurențiu Maniu in the 15th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Marcelo Salomon to make the kick off. In the 55th minute of the match, Vasile Vişan got a very nice opportunity to score, but Dorin Obreja was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. In the 65thth minute of the game Denis Ichim who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but F.C. Soveja's Laurențiu Maniu was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. Laurențiu Maniu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Doru Vârșan in the 97th minute of the match. 98 minutes into the match, F.C. Soveja's goal looked a bit too open when Marcelo Salomon came free, but Laurențiu Maniu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line.
