Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Ionică Nisipeanu made the kick off and thus started the match. If Maxim Gurgui had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 4th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Costică Lupoi made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Maxim Gurgui in the 6th minute of play. After 15 played minutes Carbunarii got a freekick which was hit by Cristian Godeanu. Costică Lupoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Maxim Gurgui, who was totally free with the ball in the 18th minute. Costică Lupoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Maxim Gurgui in the 21st minute of the match. In the 28th minute, Anton Hidiș left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Carbunarii fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Maxim Gurgui managed to get in a good position for a shot. Carbunarii's supporters rose to their feet, but Maxim Gurgui was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Lupoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Gheorghe Gliga in the 34thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Moise Comșa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After a defensive mix-up in Carbunarii's zone, Ionică Nisipeanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Moise Comșa came out of the goal and Ionică Nisipeanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 48th minute Maxim Gurgui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Lupoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-1 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Maxim Gurgui made a kick off. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Maxim Gurgui in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Costică Lupoi saved Zimbreasca AFC from getting behind. When Carbunarii's Maxim Gurgui in the 56th minute got a chance for a shot 56th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Zimbreasca AFC's goalie prevented a goal. Anton Hidiș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 57th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costică Lupoi having to interfere. In the 61st match minute, Carbunarii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cristian Godeanu to maneuver through the defense. Anton Hidiș could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 70th minute of the match, but Costică Lupoi made a huge save. Anton Hidiș recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 73rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 75th minute Maxim Gurgui shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Lupoi saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Anton Hidiș got free with Costică Lupoi in the 76th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. When Maxim Gurgui came up free with the goalie in the 82nd minute, the Carbunarii fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Maxim Gurgui couldn't finish the play. Ionică Nisipeanu struck a weak shot in the 84th minute. Moise Comșa didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Zimbreasca AFC. After 90 minutes, Petrică Arseanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Carbunarii and the Zimbreasca AFC players grew even worse after the yellow card. After a rather tough play, Carbunarii's Petrică Arseanu got a free kick in the 90th minute. Gheorghe Gliga blasted a shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Moise Comșa having to make a save.
