Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Ionică Nisipeanu kicked off to start the match. The supporters of Balesti booed when Zimbreasca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 3 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Protase didn't get a good kick on the ball. Isac Enceanu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Costică Lupoi came out and tried to block the shot, but Isac Enceanu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 7th minute. The crowd rose to their feet as Balesti's Tadeo Lluciano slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Costică Lupoi. That made the score 2-0 after 10 minutes of play. Costică Lupoi came out of the goal in the 20th minute to try and stop a shot by Balesti's Isac Enceanu. But to his dismay, Isac Enceanu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 3-0. When Alex Berceanu fell near the penalty area in the 22nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Balesti's protests and gave Alex Berceanu a yellow card for diving instead. The supporters of Zimbreasca AFC booed when Balesti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Alex Berceanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Zimbreasca AFC's Gavril Alupulesei got a good chance for a goal in the 29th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. After a rather tough play, Balesti's Pompiliu Bitang got a free kick in the 30th minute. The supporters of Balesti booed when Zimbreasca AFC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 32 match minutes in a wonderful position. Romeo Achim didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Romeo Achim fell near the penalty area in the 33rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Zimbreasca AFC's protests and gave Romeo Achim a yellow card for diving instead. In the 33rd minute, Romeo Achim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 35 minutes into the match, Zimbreasca AFC's goal looked a bit too open when Isac Enceanu came free, but Costică Lupoi reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Costică Lupoi showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Tadeo Lluciano in the 37th minute of the match. Isac Enceanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 42nd minute of the match, but Costică Lupoi made a huge save. Zimbreasca AFC's Costică Lupoi played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Tadeo Lluciano in the 46th minute of play. The away team players looked dejected as the walked off the pitch at half time. They had fought hard, but were still losing 4-1.
Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Isac Enceanu to make the kick off. When the match had gone on for 54 minutes, Isac Enceanu put it in 5-1 from a short distance just to the right of Costică Lupoi. Tadeo Lluciano sent away a hard shot on goal in the 57th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Tadeo Lluciano recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 61st minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. A very good chance. 65 minutes into the match, Gheorghe Gliga had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Mihail Marioteanu. Balesti's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Gheorghe Gliga was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 5-2. Costică Lupoi showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Dorel Iftimescu, who was totally free with the ball in the 69th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Dorel Iftimescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Balesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Iftimescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costică Lupoi breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 73rd minute, Romeo Achim hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Isac Enceanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 80th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Dorel Iftimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 85th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tadeo Lluciano's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Costică Lupoi read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 88th minute of play. After 89 minutes, Gigi Răducanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Zimbreasca AFC and the Balesti players grew even worse after the yellow card. Gigi Răducanu kicked well hit freekick during the 89th minute of the match. Tadeo Lluciano received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Costică Lupoi tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Dorel Iftimescu came up free with the goalie in the 92nd minute, the Balesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dorel Iftimescu couldn't finish the play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Adrian Arbore during the 93rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Zimbreasca AFC getting a freekick after 93 minutes play. Adrian Arbore hit a great ball. If Dorel Iftimescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 94th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 96 minutes into the match, Tadeo Lluciano had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costică Lupoi. Zimbreasca AFC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Tadeo Lluciano was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-2. Balesti walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
