U CLUJ 2007's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave NEGRELE the free kick. After 15 played minutes U CLUJ 2007 got a freekick which was hit by Dacian Dumitrescu. The attack was good, but when Albert Nebunu in the 28th minute was about to shoot he didn't kick quite good enough and the ball went high over goal. Avram Agudin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Romeo Crușeveanu's shot from short distance in the 36th minute. In the 40th minute of the match Sever Ivașcu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Moise Negrițoiu showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Radu Spelbu's late challenge caught a NEGRELE's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Radu Spelbu helped the player get up and apologised. The supporters of NEGRELE booed when U CLUJ 2007 was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 41 match minutes in a wonderful position. Radu Spelbu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Romeo Crușeveanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 45th minute. Avram Agudin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Crușeveanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 74th minute.
