After having played for 19 minutes, Alin Teodor managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Steaua's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alin Teodor was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Güven Dilsafa, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. In the 25th minute of the match, Alin Teodor tried to roll the ball into the goal by the right post, but Güven Dilsafa saw his intentions and got control of the ball before it passed the line. Fc Steaua's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Moise Tilea in the 26th minute. Luca Moarcăș tried in the 26th minute to hit away a contribution but miss-kicked the ball which ended up in his own goal and left an unhappy Güven Dilsafa a with quite unnecessary self made goal. Result 1-1. In the 30thth minute of the game Emilian Schiau who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but FC SRO Baia Mare's Güven Dilsafa was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. In the 34th minute, Nistor Andriescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Iordache Gorjanu was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-2. Iordache Gorjanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sever Dăscălescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Sever Dăscălescu to make the kick off. Desiderio Amato sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iordache Gorjanu came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by FC SRO Baia Mare's Denis Boltașu. But to his dismay, Denis Boltașu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. Sever Dăscălescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 59th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Iordache Gorjanu having to interfere. Mihai Godeanu hit a great freekick 60 minutes into the match. A collision led to FC SRO Baia Mare getting a freekick after 62 minutes play. Denis Boltașu hit a great ball. 73 minutes in the game Toader Gurgui did a throw-in, and the ball was quickly in game thanks to Mihai Chihaia. Iordache Gorjanu was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Mihai Chihaia showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-4 in the 80 minute of play. In the 87th minute, Fc Steaua's Alexandru Măguran seemed to kick out at an opponent. The referee saw this and, surprisingly, showed Alexandru Măguran the red card, dismissing him from the pitch. The coaching staff of Fc Steaua protested bitterly, but the referee would have none of it, and Alexandru Măguran had no choice but to slowly walk off the pitch. Alexandru Măguran hit a great freekick 88 minutes into the match. Iordache Gorjanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Călin Burghelea in the 89th minute. In the 92nd minute of the game Toader Gurgui made a throw-in which Sever Dăscălescu played forward. A throw-in in the 94th minute of the game was made by Toader Gurgui with Sever Dăscălescu as target, who quickly passed the ball forward. FC SRO Baia Mare's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
