Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Grigore Magheru took the kick off in the first half of the match. Dan Alexa made an important save on a dangerous shot by Iurie Bota in the 4th minute. In the 9th minute, one of Axintel:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Axintel. The referee gave Captalani a penalty, 10 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Dan Baciu, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Axintel's Nichifor Roman. 0-1. In the 14th match minute, Captalani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Emil Geamănu to maneuver through the defense. Eugen Mangra hit a great freekick 15 minutes into the match. In the 18th minute, Iacob Geoană hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. After some fancy dribbling in the 26th minute, Grigore Magheru managed to get in a good position for a shot. Axintel's supporters rose to their feet, but Grigore Magheru was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dan Alexa breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th match minute, Captalani was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Geoană to maneuver through the defense. Grigore Magheru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 28th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dan Alexa having to interfere. When Dan Baciu came up free with the goalie in the 34th minute, the Captalani fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dan Baciu couldn't finish the play. 37 minutes into the match, Captalani's goalkeeper Dan Alexa had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Iurie Bota. Axintel's Nichifor Roman played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dan Baciu in the 40th minute of play. In the 41st minute, Iordache Cristoloveanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Dan Baciu made a kick off. After a rather tough play, Axintel's Leontin Bratu got a free kick in the 52nd minute. Dan Alexa took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Nae Melinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Axintel's Nichifor Roman got control of the ball when Dan Baciu tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dan Baciu got free with Nichifor Roman in the 73rd minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Nichifor Roman took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Emil Geamănu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Dan Alexa showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Grigore Magheru in the 83rd minute of the match. In the 84th minute, Dan Baciu reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Nichifor Roman. The goal made the score 0-2. Dan Baciu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Nichifor Roman tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dan Baciu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 92nd minute of the match, but Nichifor Roman made a huge save. An unexpectedly hard shot by Grigore Magheru in the 97th minute of play forced Captalani's goalkeeper Dan Alexa to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. The Axintel supporters were disappointed that their team didn't take anything from the match, despite matching Captalani's performance. The match ended with a win for Captalani.
