Spectators: 7386 (Terracing: 5541, Seating: 1698, VIP seats: 147) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Victor Levițchi kicked off to start the match. 4 minutes into the game, Marian Zdrobiş was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Dunarea Calafat's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Bosanceni the free kick. Marian Zdrobiş hit a great freekick 4 minutes into the match. Gigi Mititelu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Victor Levițchi, who was totally free with the ball in the 13th minute. If Victor Levițchi had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 22nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 32 minutes into the match, Dunarea Calafat's goal looked a bit too open when Victor Levițchi came free, but Gigi Mititelu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. An unexpectedly hard shot by Victor Levițchi in the 34th minute of play forced Dunarea Calafat's goalkeeper Gigi Mititelu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Victor Levițchi in the 43rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Gigi Mititelu saved Dunarea Calafat from getting behind. The first half was very even, with the score at 0-0 when the whistle went for half-time. The players welcomed the break and quickly retired to the dressing rooms.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Iordache Nicodim was the one to do the kick off. In the 57th minute Victor Levițchi shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Gigi Mititelu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a little luck, Dunarea Calafat's Gigi Mititelu got control of the ball when Victor Levițchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. The audience was convinced that Victor Levițchi's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Gigi Mititelu was relentless in the 62nd minute of the game. Marian Zdrobiş fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Ciprian having to interfere. After having played for 65 minutes, Iordache Nicodim managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Dunarea Calafat's supporters crossed their fingers, but Iordache Nicodim was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. With a little luck, Dunarea Calafat's Gigi Mititelu got control of the ball when Victor Levițchi tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Marian Zdrobiş had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 78th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. In the 82nd minute Marian Zdrobiş shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Corneliu Ciprian saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 89 played minutes Bosanceni got a freekick which was hit by Gică Grindeanu. Gigi Mititelu came out of the goal in the 93rd minute to try and stop a shot by Bosanceni's Victor Levițchi. But to his dismay, Victor Levițchi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-2. The Bosanceni players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
