Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) FC Dinamo București's Gelu Petrică started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. In the 5th minute, Gelu Petrică got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mihnea Vădan kicked well hit freekick during the 6th minute of the match. Liviu Mavrogheni could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 10th minute of the match, but Petru Ştoia made a huge save. The crowd rose to their feet as Mihnea Vădan kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Petru Ştoia. That made the score 1-0 in the 11 minute of play. Nicodim Curăreanu kicked well hit freekick during the 14th minute of the match. The audience thought a goal was coming when Iacob Zbanţ got free with Petru Ştoia in the 17th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. In the 20th minute, Nicodim Curăreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Ernest Văcaru made in the 21st minute of the game a throw-in that took a bad bounce and was taken care of by FC Dinamo București's Stelian Ghinescu. Dobarca's Mihnea Vădan got his second yellow card of the match in the 22nd minute. The referee ordered Mihnea Vădan off the ground. In the 22nd match minute, Dobarca was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Mihnea Vădan to maneuver through the defense. Nistor Bordeanu was probably a little too eager to shoot when he, in the 23rd played minute, shot the ball from way out. The shot was hard, but the ball flew wide of the goal. With a little luck, FC Dinamo București's Petru Ştoia got control of the ball when Liviu Mavrogheni tried to sneak it across the goal line. If Gelu Petrică had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 31st minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Liviu Mavrogheni during the 36th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. After 36 played minutes Dobarca got a freekick which was hit by Liviu Mavrogheni. A collision led to FC Dinamo București getting a freekick after 39 minutes play. Stelian Ghinescu hit a great ball. In the 41st minute, Liviu Mavrogheni reached a very good position and smashed the ball with a huge effort into the net, just to the left of Petru Ştoia. The goal made the score 2-0. Dobarca's Liviu Mavrogheni came free and shot a quick shot against goal 45 minutes in the game, fortunately Petru Ştoia had problems saving as it came toward the left post. Liviu Mavrogheni recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All the noise was coming from the home fans when the whistle went for half-time. The home team had fought hardest to put themselves in a deserved lead.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Liviu Mavrogheni stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Liviu Mavrogheni had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After some fancy dribbling in the 55th minute, Nicodim Curăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Curăreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Petru Ştoia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 56 minutes into the game, Stelian Ghinescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Dinamo București's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Dobarca the free kick. Stelian Ghinescu kicked well hit freekick during the 56th minute of the match. 59 minutes into the match, Liviu Mavrogheni had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Petru Ştoia. FC Dinamo București's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Liviu Mavrogheni was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 3-0. Dobarca's Octavian Filipoiu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Gelu Petrică in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Dobarca got a freekick which was hit by Nicodim Curăreanu. In the 69th minute Liviu Mavrogheni shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Petru Ştoia saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some fancy dribbling in the 71st minute, Nicodim Curăreanu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Dobarca's supporters rose to their feet, but Nicodim Curăreanu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post.
