Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Marian Trăiloiu kicked off to start the match. Marian Trăiloiu received a nice pass, split the defenders, and ran untouched towards the goal. Valentin Dobrea came out and tried to block the shot, but Marian Trăiloiu slotted it home off the left post making it 1-0 in the 5th minute. In the 22nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Ciomartan CSM's goalkeeper Aristide Mazăre, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sabolciu UFC's Valentin Dobrea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 24th minute of the match, managed to save Sabolciu UFC from getting a goal against them. In the 25th minute Marian Trăiloiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Dobrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. A collision led to Sabolciu UFC getting a freekick after 27 minutes play. Nicolae Nisipeanu hit a great ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 31st minute, Rareș Zbughină managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sabolciu UFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Rareș Zbughină was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Aristide Mazăre breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marian Trăiloiu in the 33rd minute of play forced Sabolciu UFC's goalkeeper Valentin Dobrea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After a defensive mix-up in Sabolciu UFC's zone, Marian Trăiloiu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Valentin Dobrea came out of the goal and Marian Trăiloiu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Valentin Dobrea was a little too slow when Marian Trăiloiu got a fine hit on the ball which went right into the goal in the 36th minute. The score was now 2-0. Filip Pușcașus short, quick shot in the 40thth minute got Valentin Dobrea to make great effort and bar the ball away from getting in. After a rather tough play, Ciomartan CSM's Damian Cînu got a free kick in the 41st minute. Valentin Dobrea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Marian Trăiloiu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 46th match minute, Sabolciu UFC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Pavel Neagoe to maneuver through the defense. Marian Trăiloiu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 47th minute of the match, but Valentin Dobrea made a huge save. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nistor Hrib was the one to do the kick off. If Marian Trăiloiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 53rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. An unexpected shot in the 60th minute by Nistor Hrib got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. In the 73rd minute Damian Cînu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Dobrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ciomartan CSM's Marian Trăiloiu got a good chance for a goal in the 78th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Sabolciu UFC getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Pavel Neagoe hit a great ball. In the 80th minute Filip Pușcașu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Valentin Dobrea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Sabolciu UFC's Nistor Hrib got a good chance for a goal in the 84th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Filip Pușcașu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 88th minute. Valentin Dobrea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After 95 played minutes Ciomartan CSM got a freekick which was hit by Vlad Tutunaru.
