Ciomartan CSM were furious when Adam Culcer was red carded, 5 minutes into the game, but the referee dismissed their protests. In a very dangerous position, a player in Ciomartan CSM fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 4th minute. Penalty! 8 minutes into the game, Lisindresti's Romeo Danciu nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Aristide Mazăre made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 0-1. Romeo Danciu struck a weak shot in the 11th minute. Aristide Mazăre didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Lisindresti. Lisindresti's Dacian Chilian played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Nicolae Săvescu in the 13th minute of play. Martin Braica charged in rather forcefully in the 18th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Martin Braica the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. After 18 played minutes Lisindresti got a freekick which was hit by Martin Braica. After having played for 21 minutes, Damian Cînu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Ciomartan CSM's supporters crossed their fingers, but Damian Cînu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Romeo Danciu kicked well hit freekick during the 22nd minute of the match. In the 25th minute the ball was on its way in behind Lisindresti's goalkeeper Dacian Chilian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. The supporters of Ciomartan CSM booed when Lisindresti was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 28 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gabriel Fundătoreanu didn't get a good kick on the ball. 28 minutes into the game, Cosmin Apostolescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Ciomartan CSM's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Lisindresti the free kick. In the 29th match minute, Ciomartan CSM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Cosmin Apostolescu to maneuver through the defense. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Romeo Danciu in the 30th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Mazăre saved Ciomartan CSM from getting behind. An unexpectedly hard shot by Romeo Danciu in the 35th minute of play forced Ciomartan CSM's goalkeeper Aristide Mazăre to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 40th minute, Filip Pușcașu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Ciomartan CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Filip Pușcașu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dacian Chilian breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Damian Cînu came up free with the goalie in the 43rd minute, the Ciomartan CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Damian Cînu couldn't finish the play. If Damian Cînu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 45th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Damian Cînu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 46th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. The Ciomartan CSM players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. Lisindresti were winning 0-1.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Martin Braica to strike the kick off in the second half. Romeo Danciu took the ball and in the 53 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Aristide Mazăre. Aristide Mazăre dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 0-2. Dacian Chilian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Filip Pușcașu, who was totally free with the ball in the 58th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Mircea Banu during the 61st minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to Lisindresti getting a freekick after 61 minutes play. Mircea Banu hit a great ball. Dacian Chilian took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Damian Cînu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 68thth minute of the game Damian Cînu who was perfectly placed tried to make a shot on goal, but Lisindresti's Dacian Chilian was lucky and managed to grab hold of the ball. A collision led to Ciomartan CSM getting a freekick after 69 minutes play. Cosmin Apostolescu hit a great ball. Ciomartan CSM's Damian Cînu got a good chance for a goal in the 72nd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. Dacian Chilian showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Damian Cînu, who was totally free with the ball in the 77th minute. 78 minutes into the match, Ciomartan CSM's Gavril Apostu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dacian Chilian narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Dacian Chilian showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Damian Cînu in the 79th minute of the match. A hard shot 83 in the game by Romeo Danciu from a close distance when the talented Aristide Mazăre managed to make a qualified save. Ciomartan CSM's players were relieved. Filip Pușcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. The referee gave Ciomartan CSM a penalty, 87 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Vlad Tutunaru, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Lisindresti's Dacian Chilian. 1-2. Damian Cînu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Dacian Chilian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 92nd minute the ball was on its way in behind Lisindresti's goalkeeper Dacian Chilian, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 93 minutes into the game, Damian Cînu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Dacian Chilian was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Damian Cînu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Dacian Chilian having to make a save. Filip Pușcașu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 99th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the referee blew the final whistle, you could see the dissatisfaction in the Ciomartan CSM players' eyes. They were disappointed they hadn't taken more from the game.
