Cezar Băieșu kicked well hit freekick during the 12th minute of the match. After 17 played minutes Rapid Ultras got a freekick which was hit by Pompiliu Crișan. Petru Brânzaș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 19th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gavril Dicu having to interfere. The supporters of Rapid Ultras booed when Livezei SC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 23 match minutes in a wonderful position. Mihnea Turcescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. After a rather tough play, Livezei SC's Cazimir Arseni got a free kick in the 25th minute. 28 minutes into the match, Livezei SC's goal looked a bit too open when Dinu Dimofte came free, but Gavril Dicu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Calistrat Corduneanu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 29th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Dinu Dimofte came up free with the goalie in the 32nd minute, the Rapid Ultras fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinu Dimofte couldn't finish the play. If Dinu Dimofte had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 34th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Gavril Dicu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dinu Dimofte in the 36th minute of the match. After 38 played minutes Livezei SC got a freekick which was hit by Mihnea Turcescu. Mihnea Turcescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 40th minute. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Băieșu in the 43rd minute of play forced Rapid Ultras's goalkeeper Șerban Bulă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Șerban Bulă made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 1-0. Mihnea Turcescu's late challenge caught a Rapid Ultras's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Mihnea Turcescu helped the player get up and apologised. Mihnea Turcescu kicked well hit freekick during the 60th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in Rapid Ultras's zone, Calistrat Corduneanu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Șerban Bulă came out of the goal and Calistrat Corduneanu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 66th match minute, Rapid Ultras was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Ovidiu Purje to maneuver through the defense. Rapid Ultras's Șerban Bulă played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Calistrat Corduneanu in the 69th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Cezar Băieșu in the 73rd minute of play forced Rapid Ultras's goalkeeper Șerban Bulă to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. A collision led to Rapid Ultras getting a freekick after 74 minutes play. Cătălin Comănescu hit a great ball. Gelu Mihu was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 84 minutes into the match. After 83 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle.
