In the 2nd minute Carl Johnson shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costel Murgan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Iosif Ionașcu during the 3rd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. 4 minutes into the match, Rincaciov's goalkeeper Costel Murgan had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Mihail Tilincă. Omar Donzel showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costel Neaga, who was totally free with the ball in the 7th minute. After some fancy dribbling in the 12th minute, Vasile Arieșan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Maxinesti's supporters rose to their feet, but Vasile Arieșan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Costel Murgan breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 15th minute, Maxinesti's Mihail Tilincă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Costel Murgan. Costel Murgan yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-0. Costel Neaga scored 1-1 in the 21st match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Omar Donzel, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. 25 minutes into the match, Rincaciov's goal looked a bit too open when Carl Johnson came free, but Costel Murgan reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Omar Donzel made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Costel Neaga in the 27th minute of play. In the 34th minute, Carl Johnson made a precise shot to the right of Costel Murgan. Rincaciov's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 2-1. After some fancy dribbling in the 39th minute, Costel Neaga managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rincaciov's supporters rose to their feet, but Costel Neaga was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Omar Donzel breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 41 minutes into the game, Daniel Iosifian cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 2-2. Omar Donzel was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Maxinesti's Omar Donzel played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Neaga in the 46th minute of play. Daniel Iosifian fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 48th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Donzel having to interfere. The score stood at 2-2 when the half time whistle went. Both sets of players seemed reasonably pleased with how the match was going.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Mihail Tilincă stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Rincaciov's Horaţiu Bucur got a free kick in the 54th minute. Daniel Iosifian recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 56th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Costel Neaga was extremely unlucky when he, in the 59th minute, took a shot that hit the right post and went out. A collision led to Maxinesti getting a freekick after 63 minutes play. Gigel Achifoaiei hit a great ball. Costel Neaga fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 68th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Omar Donzel having to interfere. After having played for 70 minutes, Daniel Iosifian managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Rincaciov's supporters crossed their fingers, but Daniel Iosifian was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Omar Donzel made a fantastic save in the 72nd minute, when Daniel Iosifian sent off a good shot on target. Costel Neaga could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 76th minute of the match, but Omar Donzel made a huge save. Mihail Tilincă fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 78th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Costel Murgan having to interfere. An unexpected shot in the 80th minute by Costel Neaga got the crowd on their feet, but to their dismay it went out on the left side. Alex Balint received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 89th minute. Costel Murgan tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Rincaciov were clearly unhappy with the draw, as they felt they had done enough to earn themselves a victory.
