Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) After having played for 4 minutes, Ion Cârnu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Focuri AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Cârnu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 10 minutes into the match, FC Lilieci's goalkeeper Aristide Costescu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Pavel Ciutacu. Alexandru Vergulescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Bogdan Costandin having to interfere. After 14 minutes of play, Focuri AFC's Ion Cârnu made it 1-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Aristide Costescu was left in no man's land by his defense there! Aristide Costescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ion Cârnu in the 19th minute. After 19 played minutes FC Lilieci got a freekick which was hit by Alin Aanicăi. If Ion Cârnu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 21st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Aurel Şania sent away a hard shot on goal in the 22nd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Focuri AFC's goalkeeper Bogdan Costandin, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Alexandru Vergulescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 26th minute. Bogdan Costandin tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Aristide Costescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Dacian Gâlcă in the 29th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lilieci's zone, Alin Tatomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Costescu came out of the goal and Alin Tatomir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After 35 played minutes FC Lilieci got a freekick which was hit by Stelian Bădiță. Ion Cârnu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 36th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Ion Cârnu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Costescu having to interfere. 43 minutes into the match, Focuri AFC's Pavel Ciutacu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Aristide Costescu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Alin Tatomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aristide Costescu having to interfere. In the 46th minute, Grigore Aalexoaiei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 1-0 at half-time.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ion Cârnu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. If Aurel Şania had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 52nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Bogdan Costandin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Şania, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Grigore Aalexoaiei recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 54th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 57th match minute, FC Lilieci was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Nicodim Mandache to maneuver through the defense. When Focuri AFC's Ion Cârnu in the 58th minute got a chance for a shot 58th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Lilieci's goalie prevented a goal. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lilieci's zone, Alin Tatomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Costescu came out of the goal and Alin Tatomir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Tatomir in the 61st managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Costescu saved FC Lilieci from getting behind. After a defensive mix-up in FC Lilieci's zone, Alin Tatomir stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Aristide Costescu came out of the goal and Alin Tatomir tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. The supporters of Focuri AFC booed when FC Lilieci was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 65 match minutes in a wonderful position. Stelian Bădiță didn't get a good kick on the ball. When Adam Neagu came up free with the goalie in the 70th minute, the Focuri AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Neagu couldn't finish the play. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Ion Cârnu in the 78th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Aristide Costescu saved FC Lilieci from getting behind. When Adam Neagu came up free with the goalie in the 79th minute, the Focuri AFC fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Adam Neagu couldn't finish the play. Ion Cârnu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 80th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Aristide Costescu having to make a save. Aristide Costescu came out of the goal in the 86th minute to try and stop a shot by Focuri AFC's Ion Cârnu. But to his dismay, Ion Cârnu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. In the 89th minute, Stelian Bădiță hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. When Focuri AFC's Ion Cârnu in the 90th minute got a chance for a shot 90th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Lilieci's goalie prevented a goal. 94 minutes into the match, Alin Tatomir notched a goal, 5-0, to the right of FC Lilieci's Aristide Costescu. Aristide Costescu was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Focuri AFC had played much better football throughout.
