Spectators: 6723 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1723, VIP seats: 0) Ion Cârnu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alin Tatomir in the 9th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Codrin Crăiță saved Ghelari CF from getting behind. 10 minutes into the match, Ion Cârnu notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of Ghelari CF's Codrin Crăiță. Codrin Crăiță was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. Codrin Crăiță stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Ion Cârnu's shot from short distance in the 18th minute. In the 24th minute the ball was on its way in behind Ghelari CF's goalkeeper Codrin Crăiță, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Ion Cârnu in the 28th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Codrin Crăiță prevented the ball from getting in the gole. After having played for 32 minutes, Ion Cârnu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Focuri AFC's supporters crossed their fingers, but Ion Cârnu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 34 minutes into the game, Alin Tatomir cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Codrin Crăiță was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ion Cârnu in the 42nd minute of play forced Ghelari CF's goalkeeper Codrin Crăiță to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After some fancy dribbling in the 46th minute, Ion Cârnu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Focuri AFC's supporters rose to their feet, but Ion Cârnu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Codrin Crăiță breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Ghelari CF's Codrin Crăiță played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Alin Tatomir in the 47th minute of play. After the first half Focuri AFC were leading 1-3. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Pavel Zglobiu made a kick off. Ion Cârnu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codrin Crăiță read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 52nd minute of play. Dacian Gâlcă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 54th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. When the match had gone on for 60 minutes, Dacian Gâlcă took a quick shot and it went in 1-4 without a chance for Codrin Crăiță to make any attempt to save it. Ion Cârnu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 63rd minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Pavel Zglobiu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 68th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Ghelari CF's Codrin Crăiță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 72nd minute of the match, managed to save Ghelari CF from getting a goal against them. Iacob Slicaru charged in rather forcefully in the 75th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Iacob Slicaru the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Adam Neagu struck a weak shot in the 78th minute. Codrin Crăiță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Focuri AFC. After a defensive mix-up in Ghelari CF's zone, Ion Cârnu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codrin Crăiță came out of the goal and Ion Cârnu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Alin Tatomir fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 84th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Codrin Crăiță having to interfere. When Focuri AFC's Ion Cârnu in 86 game minutes managed to cut through with the ball in front of the goal, only having to shoot. Codrin Crăiță guarding the goal like a pit bull was extremely focused and managed to reach the ball just by the crossbar before it went in. With his leg Codrin Crăiță managed to avoid a goal in the 87thth minute, when Focuri AFC's Alin Tatomir fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. Dacian Gâlcă received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 90th minute. Codrin Crăiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Ion Cârnu's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 94thth minute, Codrin Crăiță skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Ion Cârnu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Codrin Crăiță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Focuri AFC's players went to the stands to thank the travelling support. The fan's backing had helped spurr the team on to a fine performance that won them the match.
