George Mestecăneanu was slow to take the kick. During this time Meseriasii's players had a chance to rest. A collision led to Meseriasii getting a freekick after 7 minutes play. Stelian Enceanu hit a great ball. In the 10th minute, Antonel Gherguț got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. After some fancy dribbling in the 14th minute, Olimpiu Melentie managed to get in a good position for a shot. Meseriasii's supporters rose to their feet, but Olimpiu Melentie was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Gavril Gioagă breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 18 minutes into the match, Pașcani's goal looked a bit too open when Cristi Mușetescu came free, but Gavril Gioagă reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 20th match minute, Meseriasii was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Marcel Atodiresei to maneuver through the defense. A collision led to Meseriasii getting a freekick after 22 minutes play. Iacob Crăciunaș hit a great ball. In the 26th minute of the match Iacob Crăciunaș shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Gavril Gioagă showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. Gavril Gioagă made a fantastic save in the 30th minute, when Olimpiu Melentie sent off a good shot on target. Gavril Gioagă was in the perfect position, and the defense had done a good job marking him, but Ernest Matei showcased his skills and made a perfect shot to score 1-0 in the 32 minute of play. Pașcani's Crispijn Deprez got a good chance for a goal in the 37th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. If Pavel Oniga had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 42 minutes into the match, Meseriasii's goal looked a bit too open when Crispijn Deprez came free, but Teodor Ipătescu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Toader Văduva sent away a hard shot on goal in the 46th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 47 minutes, Marcel Atodiresei mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Meseriasii and the Pașcani players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Meseriasii getting a freekick after 47 minutes play. Marcel Atodiresei hit a great ball. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

Crispijn Deprez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 51st minute. Teodor Ipătescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. When Marcel Atodiresei was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 52 minutes had been played. Crispijn Deprez received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 65th minute. Teodor Ipătescu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After a defensive mix-up in Pașcani's zone, Olimpiu Melentie stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Gavril Gioagă came out of the goal and Olimpiu Melentie tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Olimpiu Melentie sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. If Antonel Gherguț had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 74th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Teodor Ipătescu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Antonel Gherguț in the 78th minute. Calistrat Cârstea was astounded when the referee showed him the red card after a seemingly innocent challenge, 82 minutes into the match. Gavril Gioagă went to the wrong direction when George Mestecăneanu was taking care of the penalty kick which however missed the goal. If Olimpiu Melentie had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Crispijn Deprez might have been able to make a better finish in the 92nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Teodor Ipătescu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Crispijn Deprez ran back to his position shaking his head. George Mestecăneanu hit a great freekick 94 minutes into the match. Toader Văduva fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Teodor Ipătescu having to interfere. Pașcani's supporters were dissatisfied at the end of the match because Meseriasii had won, even though Pașcani had held more of the ball.
