Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Mihail Manciu took the kick off in the first half of the match. An unexpectedly hard shot by Dorel Cotoi in the 5th minute of play forced Dragos FC's goalkeeper Nichifor Mârzac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 6th match minute, Dragos FC was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Aristide Dumitrachescu to maneuver through the defense. In the 7th minute, Rangers FC's Dorel Cotoi dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 1-0. Doru Vlăsiu kicked well hit freekick during the 10th minute of the match. Nichifor Mârzac showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Gelu Jurcuț in the 16th minute of the match. Nichifor Mârzac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Gelu Jurcuț in the 21st minute of play. With a little luck, Dragos FC's Nichifor Mârzac got control of the ball when Marcel Crușeveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. In a very dangerous position, a player in Dragos FC fell when an opponent tried to get the ball from him in the 32nd minute. Penalty! In the 34th minute there was a penalty for Rangers FC. Horia Urderean stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Nichifor Mârzac. 2-0. Marcel Crușeveanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 37th minute of the match, but Nichifor Mârzac made a huge save. In the 45th minute, Aristide Dumitrachescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 47th minute of the match, Mădălin Axinia got a very nice opportunity to score, but Nichifor Mârzac was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Dorel Cotoi stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. When Moise Alucusan fell near the penalty area in the 53rd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dragos FC's protests and gave Moise Alucusan a yellow card for diving instead. Moise Alucusan kicked well hit freekick during the 53rd minute of the match. Nichifor Mârzac made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dorel Cotoi in the 57th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Marcel Crușeveanu in the 59th minute of play forced Dragos FC's goalkeeper Nichifor Mârzac to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. After 60 minutes of play, Rangers FC's Mădălin Axinia made it 4-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Nichifor Mârzac was left in no man's land by his defense there! Nichifor Mârzac showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Mădălin Axinia, who was totally free with the ball in the 66th minute. A collision led to Rangers FC getting a freekick after 72 minutes play. Emil Stolnicu hit a great ball. Eduard Vişoianu stood somewhat misplaced when Mihail Manciu came free in front of goal and shot 5-1 to the left of him in the 76 minute. 80 minutes into the match, Dorel Cotoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Nichifor Mârzac. Dragos FC's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorel Cotoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-1. Nichifor Mârzac came out of the goal in the 84th minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers FC's Dorel Cotoi. But to his dismay, Dorel Cotoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 7-1. Dragos FC's Nichifor Mârzac played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dorel Cotoi in the 91st minute of play. If Marcel Crușeveanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 93rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Silviu Vâlcu lost his temper 97 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rangers FC fully deserved thier win.
