Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dorel Cotoi made the kick off and thus started the match. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Nae Novacovici during the 7th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. Nae Novacovici hit a great freekick 7 minutes into the match. Călin Cunea came out of the goal in the 8th minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers FC's Dorel Cotoi. But to his dismay, Dorel Cotoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. Marcel Crușeveanu succeeded to score despite a near miss that spronge from right pole into the goal to 2-0 in the 18th playminute. Marcel Crușeveanu took the ball and in the 24 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Călin Cunea. Călin Cunea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0. Marcel Crușeveanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 30th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Călin Cunea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Marcel Crușeveanu ran back to his position shaking his head. After 32 minutes, Manole Duldurescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Real Madrid and the Rangers FC players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Real Madrid getting a freekick after 32 minutes play. Manole Duldurescu hit a great ball. Real Madrid's Călin Cunea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 34th minute of the match, managed to save Real Madrid from getting a goal against them. Călin Cunea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dorel Cotoi, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. With a little luck, Real Madrid's Călin Cunea got control of the ball when Marcel Crușeveanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Doru Vlăsiu hit a great freekick 42 minutes into the match.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Viorel Bîlbă made a kick off. Călin Cunea came out of the goal in the 56th minute to try and stop a shot by Rangers FC's Dorel Cotoi. But to his dismay, Dorel Cotoi quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. After 60 played minutes, Real Madrid's Edgar Simionaş shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Eduard Vişoianu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Real Madrid reached it. Gelu Jurcuț received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 66th minute. Călin Cunea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some careless play in the Real Madrid defense, Dorel Cotoi kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Călin Cunea. The Real Madrid fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Călin Cunea should have stopped the shot. Mădălin Axinia hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dorel Cotoi sent away a hard shot on goal in the 80th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After some fancy dribbling in the 83rd minute, Dorel Cotoi managed to get in a good position for a shot. Rangers FC's supporters rose to their feet, but Dorel Cotoi was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Călin Cunea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. 85 minutes into the match, Dorel Cotoi had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Călin Cunea. Real Madrid's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Dorel Cotoi was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 6-0. Dorel Cotoi fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 91st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Călin Cunea having to interfere. Rangers FC's attacker deliberately struck the ball against an opponent to win a corner for his team. The corner was taken by Horia Urderean in the 98th minute. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. Rangers FC fully deserved thier win.
