The referee ignored Victoria M.Buzau's protests and gave Rareș Aurelianu a yellow card for diving instead. Rareș Aurelianu hit a great freekick 6 minutes into the match. Neguseni SC's Mihail Sava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Tokarczyk in the 9th minute of play. Ionel Gâfu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 10th minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Codrin Răduțu might have been able to make a better finish in the 14th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mihail Sava. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Codrin Răduțu ran back to his position shaking his head. Ionel Gâfu succeeded in the game's 16th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-0. Ionel Gâfu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 18th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Sava having to interfere. After 21 minutes of play, Victoria M.Buzau's Karol Tokarczyk made it 2-0 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Mihail Sava was left in no man's land by his defense there! Codrin Răduțu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 25th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Sava having to interfere. In the 29th minute, Moise Tuleiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Neguseni SC's Mihail Sava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Răduțu in the 34th minute of play. Ionel Gâfu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 35th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mihail Sava having to interfere. In the 37th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neguseni SC's goalkeeper Mihail Sava, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. If Codrin Răduțu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 41st minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. With his leg Mihail Sava managed to avoid a goal in the 45thth minute, when Victoria M.Buzau's Karol Tokarczyk fired away a shot with a lot of spin towards his right hand side. After having played for 47 minutes, Codrin Răduțu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Victoria M.Buzau's supporters crossed their fingers, but Codrin Răduțu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Filip Lăcătușu took the ball and in the 47 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mihail Sava. Mihail Sava dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-0.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Nicu Porumboiu was the one to do the kick off. When Codrin Răduțu came up free with the goalie in the 55th minute, the Victoria M.Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Răduțu couldn't finish the play. In the 57th minute, Ionel Gâfu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Mihail Sava was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-0. Ionel Gâfu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 59th minute. Mihail Sava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. If Ionel Gâfu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 63rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 64 played minutes Neguseni SC got a freekick which was hit by Nicu Porumboiu. Ionel Gâfu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 71st minute. Mihail Sava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. After some fancy dribbling in the 75th minute, Ionel Gâfu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Victoria M.Buzau's supporters rose to their feet, but Ionel Gâfu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihail Sava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Neguseni SC's Mihail Sava played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Karol Tokarczyk in the 81st minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Codrin Răduțu in the 82nd minute of play forced Neguseni SC's goalkeeper Mihail Sava to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Karol Tokarczyk's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mihail Sava read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 87th minute of play. 90 minutes into the game, Victoria M.Buzau's Sorin Alexandru nearly tore a hole in the net with a booming shot. Mihail Sava made a valiant effort, but he could not reach the ball in time, 5-0. In the 94th minute, Codrin Răduțu left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Victoria M.Buzau fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 6-0. When Codrin Răduțu came up free with the goalie in the 97th minute, the Victoria M.Buzau fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Codrin Răduțu couldn't finish the play. Victoria M.Buzau walked away with a well-earned victory that was much celebrated by the crowd.
