Spectators: 7380 (Terracing: 5536, Seating: 1697, VIP seats: 147) The field was rather wet after several days of rain when Nicu Porumboiu took the kick off in the first half of the match. In the 4th minute the ball was on its way in behind Neguseni SC's goalkeeper Mihail Sava, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. After some fancy dribbling in the 6th minute, Emil Pistol managed to get in a good position for a shot. Miercurea - Ciuc Academy's supporters rose to their feet, but Emil Pistol was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mihail Sava breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Valentin Mironescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 9th minute. Luca Iulian tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Buzincu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 13th minute of the match, but Luca Iulian made a huge save. After a rather tough play, Miercurea - Ciuc Academy's Anton Ponta got a free kick in the 18th minute. In the 23rd minute Iacob Cotuțiu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Sava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. 28 minutes into the match, Neguseni SC's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Pistol came free, but Mihail Sava reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Emil Pistol received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 31st minute. Mihail Sava tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Nicu Buzincu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 34th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Iulian having to interfere. In the 35th minute, Nicu Porumboiu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costin Dulgherescu kicked well hit freekick during the 36th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Emil Pistol stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Emil Pistol recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 53rd minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. If Iacob Cotuțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 55th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 56th minute Emil Pistol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Sava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. In the 67th play minute Costin Dulgherescu came free and shot an unsuspected shot which went into goal from the right pole behind a surprised Mihail Sava. 0-1. Mihail Sava made a fantastic save in the 77th minute, when Iacob Cotuțiu sent off a good shot on target. 79 minutes into the game, Iacob Cotuțiu cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mihail Sava was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Iacob Cotuțiu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 85th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. When Valentin Itoafă fell near the penalty area in the 88th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Neguseni SC's protests and gave Valentin Itoafă a yellow card for diving instead. Florin Oprița, 89 minutes into the match, dribbled the ball up the side of the field and decided to take a long shot at the goal. Unfortunately, the ball was poorly hit and landed closer to the corner than to the goal. In the 91st minute Emil Pistol shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mihail Sava saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Emil Pistol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 94th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. When Nicu Porumboiu fell near the penalty area in the 95th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick.
