Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Alex Chițac kicked off to start the match. Luca Jilăveanu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Alexandru Penaru in the 3rd minute of the match. If Costin Voicu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 5th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 11th minute, Gheorghe Astafei hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Sebastian Tache showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Robert Gruia, who was totally free with the ball in the 14th minute. In the 16th minute, Alexandru Penaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. 19 minutes into the match, Terca's goal looked a bit too open when Alex Chițac came free, but Luca Jilăveanu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Fagetul AS's Alex Chițac in the 24th minute got a chance for a shot 24th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Terca's goalie prevented a goal. If Alexandru Penaru had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 26th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Alex Chițac came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Fagetul AS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Alex Chițac couldn't finish the play. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Alex Chițac in the 32nd minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Luca Jilăveanu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Chițac in the 35th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Jilăveanu saved Terca from getting behind. Alex Chițac fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Luca Jilăveanu having to interfere. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Chițac in the 42nd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Jilăveanu saved Terca from getting behind. A collision led to Terca getting a freekick after 45 minutes play. Pompiliu Gherghescu hit a great ball. Luca Jilăveanu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Alex Chițac, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Costin Voicu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 47th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 0-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.
The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Robert Gruia stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. In the 52nd minute, Robert Gruia got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. If Robert Gruia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Robert Gruia came up free with the goalie in the 56th minute, the Terca fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Robert Gruia couldn't finish the play. After taking down the ball on Fagetul AS's corner Mihnea Pintilie fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Luca Jilăveanu quite easily take care of the ball. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Alex Chițac in the 66th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Luca Jilăveanu saved Terca from getting behind. In the 69th minute, Emil Goiciu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 70th minute, Fagetul AS's Alex Chițac ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Luca Jilăveanu. Luca Jilăveanu yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 0-3. Fagetul AS's Alexandru Penaru got a good chance for a goal in the 76th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. A collision led to Fagetul AS getting a freekick after 78 minutes play. Mihnea Pintilie hit a great ball. In the 82nd minute Robert Gruia shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Sebastian Tache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Iustin Dănilă fell near the penalty area in the 86th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Fagetul AS's protests and gave Iustin Dănilă a yellow card for diving instead. After having played for 92 minutes, Alexandru Penaru managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fagetul AS's supporters crossed their fingers, but Alexandru Penaru was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The audience was convinced that Alex Chițac's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Luca Jilăveanu was relentless in the 94th minute of the game. The crowd rose to their feet as Alex Chițac kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Luca Jilăveanu. That made the score 1-4 in the 97 minute of play. The Fagetul AS supporters could be heard counting down the last seconds of the match. They errupted in celebration when the whistle blew, knowing Fagetul AS would go home with victory in their luggage after a match that easily could have ended differently.
