Spectators: 7431 (Terracing: 5574, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 148) It was fairly windy and cold on the field when Robert Tiberian kicked off to start the match. In the 9th minute, Iacob Fundătoreanu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Thanks to some nice foot action and superb ball handling Marin Amuguroancei in the 11th minute a chance for a shot on goal. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mircea Magheru prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Marin Amuguroancei fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 14th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Magheru having to interfere. Lucian Hârșu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Robert Tiberian in the 16th minute of the match. Mircea Magheru was out of position in the 19 minute of play, and Marin Amuguroancei capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Marin Amuguroancei really showed his touch with that goal: 1-0. When the match clock showed 29 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Marin Amuguroancei sped through Babiciul FCM's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Mircea Magheru. In the 37th match minute, Babiciul FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iulian Barbu to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 39 minutes, Marin Amuguroancei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Corvinul Hunedoara's supporters crossed their fingers, but Marin Amuguroancei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. Iacob Fundătoreanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 47th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Mircea Magheru having to interfere.

The wind increased when Marin Amuguroancei made the kick off in the second half. After a rather tough play, Corvinul Hunedoara's Marin Amuguroancei got a free kick in the 56th minute. Mircea Magheru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marin Amuguroancei in the 61st minute of the match. Iacob Fundătoreanu might have been able to make a better finish in the 64th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Mircea Magheru. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Iacob Fundătoreanu ran back to his position shaking his head. After some fancy dribbling in the 65th minute, Marin Amuguroancei managed to get in a good position for a shot. Corvinul Hunedoara's supporters rose to their feet, but Marin Amuguroancei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mircea Magheru breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. When Maxim Gologan fell near the penalty area in the 69th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Babiciul FCM's protests and gave Maxim Gologan a yellow card for diving instead. In the 69th match minute, Babiciul FCM was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Maxim Gologan to maneuver through the defense. After recieving a nice pass, Corvinul Hunedoara's Gabriel Enachescu tried to score from far away in the 70th minute, but the ball went over the crossbar. After 73 played minutes Corvinul Hunedoara got a freekick which was hit by Răzvan Mereuță. Corvinul Hunedoara's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Iordache Chifan was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 2-1. Iacob Fundătoreanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 82nd minute. Mircea Magheru tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Marin Amuguroancei took the ball and in the 83 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Mircea Magheru. Mircea Magheru dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 3-1. 93 minutes into the match, Corvinul Hunedoara's goal looked a bit too open when Robert Tiberian came free, but Lucian Hârșu reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 96th minute, Ivan Balotă hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. It was no surprise that this one had ended in a win for the home team. Corvinul Hunedoara had played much better football throughout.
