Spectators: 6709 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1709, VIP seats: 0) 5 minutes into the match, Mironeasa's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Brezeanu came free, but Matei Sorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. In the 7th minute Sandu Blajovan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Sorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Matei Sorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Silviu Brezeanu, who was totally free with the ball in the 8th minute. Urtica CSM were awarded a corner in the 9th minute after Mironeasa's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Sandu Blajovan took the corner. A nice corner shot did that Fabian Boeru got away a dangerous shot. Despite this Matei Sorin quite easily got ahold of the ball to make the save. Matei Sorin stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Sandu Blajovan's shot from short distance in the 10th minute. In the 11th minute Silviu Brezeanu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Matei Sorin saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After some careless play in the Mironeasa defense, Sandu Blajovan kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Matei Sorin. The Mironeasa fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Matei Sorin should have stopped the shot. A collision led to Mironeasa getting a freekick after 17 minutes play. Stelian Măgurean hit a great ball. Sandu Blajovan sent away a hard shot on goal in the 19th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Mironeasa's Matei Sorin played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Sandu Blajovan in the 24th minute of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 25th minute, Sandu Blajovan managed to get in a good position for a shot. Urtica CSM's supporters rose to their feet, but Sandu Blajovan was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Matei Sorin breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. In the 27th minute, Sandu Blajovan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Matei Sorin was frozen by the shot and now it was 0-2. The crowd rose to their feet as Iosif Harhoiu kicked a wonderful shot that went in to the left of a diving Iordache Micu. That made the score 1-2 in the 31 minute of play. Urtica CSM's Vlad Oneț got a good chance for a goal in the 34th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. 38 minutes into the game, Sandu Blajovan cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-3. Matei Sorin was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Matei Sorin showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Sandu Blajovan, who was totally free with the ball in the 42nd minute. In the 43rd minute, Sergiu Răduț hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Matei Sorin took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Sandu Blajovan, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-3 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Sandu Blajovan stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Sandu Blajovan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 51st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Matei Sorin having to interfere. 53 minutes into the match, Mironeasa's goal looked a bit too open when Silviu Brezeanu came free, but Matei Sorin reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Urtica CSM's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. Matei Sorin didn't succeed to prevent the ball from going into goal when Urtica CSM's Sandu Blajovan shot an unexpected shot in the crossbar's under edge and made 1-5 in the ordered_time% minute. After a defensive mix-up in Mironeasa's zone, Sandu Blajovan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Matei Sorin came out of the goal and Sandu Blajovan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Matei Sorin was out of position in the 89 minute of play, and Silviu Brezeanu capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Silviu Brezeanu really showed his touch with that goal: 1-6.
