The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Dinu Novăceanu helped the player get up and apologised. After 17 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Zorani AC! Mihăiţă Avramescu showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Emanuel Gârneț in the 20th minute of the match. Rebcos Ciuchici's supporters rose to their feet, but Niculae Apetroaiei was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Sebastian Pordea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Zorani AC's Sebastian Pordea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Boia in the 36th minute of play. 40 minutes into the match, Zorani AC's goalkeeper Sebastian Pordea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Niculae Apetroaiei. Ernest Boia might have been able to make a better finish in the 46th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Sebastian Pordea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Boia ran back to his position shaking his head. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Ernest Boia to make the kick off. The supporters of Rebcos Ciuchici booed when Zorani AC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 57 match minutes in a wonderful position. Costel Proca didn't get a good kick on the ball. Sebastian Pordea didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Niculae Apetroaiei went, in the 60th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-0 was the resulting score. Costel Proca could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 63rd minute of the match, but Mihăiţă Avramescu made a huge save. In the 65th minute, Codrin Dărăscu fired away a killer shot towards the goal that, to the delight of Mihăiţă Avramescu, passed just outside the right post. If Niculae Apetroaiei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 72nd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Rebcos Ciuchici's Mihăiţă Avramescu played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Codrin Dărăscu in the 76th minute of play. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ernest Boia in the 77th minute of play forced Zorani AC's goalkeeper Sebastian Pordea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. Emílio Teixeira struck a weak shot in the 79th minute. Sebastian Pordea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Rebcos Ciuchici. After a defensive mix-up in Zorani AC's zone, Ivan Copil stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Sebastian Pordea came out of the goal and Ivan Copil tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play.
