With a couple of smart ball manuevers Sever Minculescu in the 3rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Fabian Enoaia saved Calapodesti CS from getting behind. Adam Fetanu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 4th minute. Fabian Enoaia tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Denis Firea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ferdinand Marinescu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Fizis's Denis Firea proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 15th minute of the match, managed to save Fizis from getting a goal against them. 15 minutes into the game, Nae Neculce recieved a splendid long ball, split the defenders, and gently placed the ball to the left of Denis Firea. Nae Neculce showed that you don't have to tear a hole in the net to score, 1-0. The Fizis fans' excitement grew in the 20th match minute when Fizis's Sever Minculescu looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. The shot wasn't hard, but the ball still rolled over the goal line to make it 1-1 before the goalkeeper had a chance to intervene. In the 27th minute, Lucrețiu Fundătoreanu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Dacian Oprea hit a great freekick 31 minutes into the match. In the 32nd minute, Sever Minculescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Sever Minculescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 36th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Fabian Enoaia having to interfere. 38 minutes into the match, Calapodesti CS's goal looked a bit too open when Sever Minculescu came free, but Fabian Enoaia reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 41 minutes into the match, Fizis's goalkeeper Denis Firea had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Nae Neculce. Nae Neculce fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 42nd minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Denis Firea having to interfere. After a very even first half the match was still tied. The players went to their respective dressing rooms to discuss the tactics for the second half.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Ferdinand Marinescu made a kick off. After a defensive mix-up in Fizis's zone, Ferdinand Marinescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Denis Firea came out of the goal and Ferdinand Marinescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After some fancy dribbling in the 63rd minute, Sever Minculescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Fizis's supporters rose to their feet, but Sever Minculescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Fabian Enoaia breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Adam Fetanu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 64th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Adam Fetanu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 66th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Bogdan Vişan kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. 79 minutes into the match, Calapodesti CS's Nae Neculce sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Denis Firea narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Nae Neculce struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Denis Firea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Calapodesti CS. After some fancy dribbling in the 94th minute, Ferdinand Marinescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Calapodesti CS's supporters rose to their feet, but Ferdinand Marinescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Denis Firea breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. The Calapodesti CS fans had already started to leave before the final whistle blew. Fizis were clearly better and deserved to take the win.
