Ilie Zăhărescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 4th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. All Blacks's Costică Turcan played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Răzvan Stegaru in the 7th minute of play. When AFCR Balan's Răzvan Stegaru in the 9th minute got a chance for a shot 9th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. When the match clock showed 18 minutes, the score became 2-0 when Leontin Zdrelea sped through All Blacks's defense and sent away a curving shot that went into the net to the right of Costică Turcan. In the 21st minute, Ilie Zăhărescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Costică Turcan made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ilie Zăhărescu in the 25th minute. Costică Turcan took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Calistrat Malcoci, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. In the 28th match minute, All Blacks was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Macamete to maneuver through the defense. If Dragoş Macamete had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 30th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 33rd minute Răzvan Stegaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Turcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. When Răzvan Stegaru came up free with the goalie in the 41st minute, the AFCR Balan fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Răzvan Stegaru couldn't finish the play. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 2-0.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Răzvan Stegaru made a kick off. Leontin Zdrelea scored 3-0 in the 56th match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Costică Turcan, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. In the 62nd minute, Răzvan Stegaru left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The AFCR Balan fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 4-0. Viorel Lung's late challenge caught a AFCR Balan's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Viorel Lung helped the player get up and apologised. In the 67th minute there was a penalty for AFCR Balan. Mugurel Dridu stepped forward and shot the ball to the right of a diving Costică Turcan. 5-0. Leontin Zdrelea kicked well hit freekick during the 69th minute of the match. When Dragoş Ieremia was, once again, overly rough in his play he received his second yellow card and was ordered off the ground. 75 minutes had been played. In the 76th match minute, AFCR Balan was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Dragoş Ieremia to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of AFCR Balan booed when All Blacks was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 77 match minutes in a wonderful position. Gigel Vintilă didn't get a good kick on the ball. 79 minutes into the match, Leontin Zdrelea had an open shot that he just couldn't miss and scored to the right of Costică Turcan. All Blacks's manager could be seen yelling to the referee that Leontin Zdrelea was offside, but the referee ignored the protest. 7-0. An unexpectedly hard shot by Ilie Zăhărescu in the 82nd minute of play forced All Blacks's goalkeeper Costică Turcan to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. If Ilie Zăhărescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 89th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. In the 90th minute Leontin Zdrelea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Costică Turcan saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After having played for 93 minutes, Leontin Zdrelea managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. AFCR Balan's supporters crossed their fingers, but Leontin Zdrelea was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. In the 96th minute of the match Horea Botescu shot from a long distance. The ball could have gone into the goal to the right of the goalkeeper, but Costică Turcan showed his good shape when he easily got hold of the ball. There was no doubt that AFCR Balan were the better team. AFCR Balan's players enjoyed the ovations of the crowd after the victory.
