Spectators: 6701 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1701, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Isac Şelaru started the match with the kick off. Through an outstanding action, after 3 minutes, Corneliu Florea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. Corneliu Florea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Aurelian Frântu, who was totally free with the ball in the 11th minute. Isac Şelaru fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 12th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Felix Negulici having to interfere. Isac Şelaru succeeded in the game's 14th minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-1. 19 minutes into the game, Isac Şelaru cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 1-2. Felix Negulici was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Felix Negulici made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Paul Ene in the 23rd minute of play. The audience thought a goal was coming when Costel Oros got free with Corneliu Florea in the 30th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Costel Oros took the ball and in the 31 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Corneliu Florea. Corneliu Florea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 2-2. Through an outstanding action, after 34 minutes, Corneliu Florea successfully got his hands on the ball before it slid into the goal at the right post. An unexpectedly hard shot by Valer Văcărescu in the 35th minute of play forced Borseni's goalkeeper Corneliu Florea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 37th minute Isac Şelaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Felix Negulici saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Costel Oros's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Corneliu Florea read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 40th minute of play. Petre Roşu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 44th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Corneliu Florea having to make a save. Corneliu Florea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Valer Văcărescu in the 47th minute of the match. After the first half the score was level. The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Valer Văcărescu was the one to do the kick off. Corneliu Florea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Aurelian Frântu in the 54th minute of the match. Felix Negulici didn't succeed in stopping the ball in the 57th minute, which inside left pole to 2-3. Aurelian Frântu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 61st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Corneliu Florea having to interfere. When Valer Văcărescu fell near the penalty area in the 67th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Suica CSS's protests and gave Valer Văcărescu a yellow card for diving instead. Paul Ene sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Albert Isăilă's late challenge caught a Suica CSS's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Albert Isăilă helped the player get up and apologised. A collision led to Borseni getting a freekick after 73 minutes play. Albert Isăilă hit a great ball. Borseni's Corneliu Florea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Costel Oros in the 73rd minute of play. Dumitru Simuţ kicked well hit freekick during the 74th minute of the match. When Costel Oros came up free with the goalie in the 89th minute, the Suica CSS fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Costel Oros couldn't finish the play. Corneliu Florea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costel Oros, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Isac Şelaru received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Felix Negulici tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The Borseni players were relieved to hear the final whistle blow to end the match. The away crowd was happy to see their team win after a very tight game.
