After a defensive mix-up in UNIREA URLATI's zone, Liviu Enciu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mihnea Tăgorean came out of the goal and Liviu Enciu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. 20 minutes into the match, Ernest Geolgău dribbled the ball past the defender and swiftly kicked the ball to the left of Paul Militaru, 1-0. Paul Militaru acted impressively in front of the goal and made a superb save when he, in the 24th minute, took the ball on the long shot from Emil Sichitiu. Codrin Silvian kicked well hit freekick during the 27th minute of the match. Paul Militaru made an important save on a dangerous shot by Ernest Geolgău in the 35th minute. Buhaeni's defense didn't have a chance, in the 39th minute, when Ernest Geolgău scored to the left of an out of position Paul Militaru, making the score, 2-0. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 3-0.

54 minutes into the match, Buhaeni's goal looked a bit too open when Ernest Geolgău came free, but Paul Militaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 56 minutes into the game, David Turcu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Buhaeni's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave UNIREA URLATI the free kick. In the 56th match minute, Buhaeni was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by David Turcu to maneuver through the defense. The supporters of Buhaeni booed when UNIREA URLATI was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 72 match minutes in a wonderful position. Fabio Aponte didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 73rd minute, Corneliu Alexandrescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costică Drăgan in the 75th minute of play forced Buhaeni's goalkeeper Paul Militaru to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. In the 76th minute, Corneliu Alexandrescu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Paul Militaru showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Costică Drăgan, who was totally free with the ball in the 79th minute. Paul Militaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Ernest Geolgău in the 81st minute of the match. David Turcu kicked well hit freekick during the 82nd minute of the match. Paul Militaru came out of the goal in the 88th minute to try and stop a shot by UNIREA URLATI's Ernest Geolgău. But to his dismay, Ernest Geolgău quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 4-0. Paul Militaru showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Codrin Silvian in the 92nd minute of the match. Paul Militaru made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Emil Sichitiu in the 93rd minute of play. 95 minutes into the match, Buhaeni's goal looked a bit too open when Emil Sichitiu came free, but Paul Militaru reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Mircea Lupșoiu charged in rather forcefully in the 95th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Mircea Lupșoiu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. There were very few away supporters still in the ground by the end of the match. Most of them had left early, disgusted by the way their team had been torn apart. UNIREA URLATI fully deserved thier win.
