When Dream On's Francisc Mareș in the 4th minute got a chance for a shot 4th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye FC Stamora's goalie prevented a goal. In the 5th match minute, Dream On was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Felix Alexa to maneuver through the defense. Iurie Buceceanu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Nicu Ababei in the 7th minute. Șerban Hristea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Aurel Vulpe, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Hristea came out of the goal in the 22nd minute to try and stop a shot by Dream On's Aurel Vulpe. But to his dismay, Aurel Vulpe quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. If Francisc Mareș had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 25th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Șerban Hristea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Francisc Mareș, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Francisc Mareș came up free with the goalie in the 29th minute, the Dream On fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Francisc Mareș couldn't finish the play. Nicu Ababei's shot straight on target was not completely harmless. The ball had pretty good speed, but Iurie Buceceanu firmly grabbed it by the left post. Francisc Mareș fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 37th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Șerban Hristea having to interfere. The supporters of FC Stamora booed when Dream On was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 44 match minutes in a wonderful position. Francisc Mareș didn't get a good kick on the ball. FC Stamora's Nicu Ababei came free and shot a quick shot against goal 47 minutes in the game, fortunately Iurie Buceceanu had problems saving as it came toward the left post. The crowd was extremely unhappy with the home team's performance in the first half. They were losing 0-1.

The wind increased when Nicu Ababei made the kick off in the second half. Dream On's Gelu Voicu shoveled away a really nice long shot in the 77th minute of play. The shot was stopped by Șerban Hristea but with some difficulty. Iurie Buceceanu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Ionuț Mincu, who was totally free with the ball in the 81st minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Aron Sârban during the 82nd minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. In the 82nd minute, Aron Sârban hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. In the 83rd minute, Nicu Ababei made a precise shot to the right of Iurie Buceceanu. Dream On's defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 1-1. An unexpectedly hard shot by Nicu Ababei in the 87th minute of play forced Dream On's goalkeeper Iurie Buceceanu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When Mădălin Soneriu fell near the penalty area in the 89th minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Dream On's protests and gave Mădălin Soneriu a yellow card for diving instead.
