Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Farcasul FC's Gavril Ţirpe started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. Șerban Hristea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gavril Ţirpe, who was totally free with the ball in the 5th minute. After a rather tough play, Farcasul FC's Marian Elian got a free kick in the 31st minute. In the 40th minute, Victor Caba ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Șerban Hristea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-0. Eimar Elu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 45th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Rareș Ioviță having to interfere. When the referee blew for the end of the half the home team players were clearly happier, as they went in to the break leading 1-0.

Nicu Ababei scored 1-1 in the 53rd match minute with a shot that went into the goal to the right of Rareș Ioviță, who was just a little too slow in reacting to the shot. Farcasul FC's Rareș Ioviță proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Farcasul FC from getting a goal against them. Nicu Ababei might have been able to make a better finish in the 58th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Rareș Ioviță. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Nicu Ababei ran back to his position shaking his head. Șerban Hristea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Gabriel Cândrea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Șerban Hristea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Victor Caba in the 74th minute of play. 76 minutes into the game, Nicodim Antonescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. FC Stamora's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Farcasul FC the free kick. The supporters of Farcasul FC booed when FC Stamora was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 76 match minutes in a wonderful position. Nicodim Antonescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Nicu Ababei sent away a hard shot on goal in the 84th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Eimar Elu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 85th minute. Rareș Ioviță tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. A collision led to Farcasul FC getting a freekick after 88 minutes play. Gabriel Cândrea hit a great ball. FC Stamora were awarded a corner in the 91th minute after Farcasul FC's defender lost control of the ball, allowing it to roll out over the line. Iacob Miron took the corner. After taking down the ball on FC Stamora's corner Ionuț Mincu fired away a hard shot, but the defenders efficiently covered the most dangerous angles and Rareș Ioviță quite easily take care of the ball. Nicu Ababei struck a weak shot in the 94th minute. Rareș Ioviță didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for FC Stamora. The supporters of FC Stamora booed when Farcasul FC was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 95 match minutes in a wonderful position. Eduard Ardelean didn't get a good kick on the ball. The teams fought very hard right up to the final whistle. Both sets of players were happy to go away with a draw.
