Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Eduard Tiţe started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. After a rather tough play, Teascu's Cazimir Josan got a free kick in the 9th minute. After 10 minutes, Moise Angheluță mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teascu and the da Giiniz players grew even worse after the yellow card. A collision led to Teascu getting a freekick after 10 minutes play. Moise Angheluță hit a great ball. Codruț Cristoloveanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Pompiliu Nasta in the 12th minute of play. Paul Ciorănescu in the 15thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Mădălin Furdui, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. After some fancy dribbling in the 19th minute, Narcis Cornea managed to get in a good position for a shot. Teascu's supporters rose to their feet, but Narcis Cornea was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mădălin Furdui breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. With a little luck, da Giiniz's Mădălin Furdui got control of the ball when Paul Ciorănescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After a defensive mix-up in Teascu's zone, Eduard Tiţe stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Codruț Cristoloveanu came out of the goal and Eduard Tiţe tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. After having played for 26 minutes, Aron Ailioaiei managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. da Giiniz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Aron Ailioaiei was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. After some careless play in the da Giiniz defense, Paul Ciorănescu kicked a shot that curved into the net to the right of Mădălin Furdui. The da Giiniz fans voiced their displeasure as they felt that Mădălin Furdui should have stopped the shot. da Giiniz's Mădălin Furdui played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Narcis Cornea in the 35th minute of play. Moise Seţeanu kicked well hit freekick during the 41st minute of the match. No-one was surprised that the home team were leading 1-0 at half-time.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Narcis Cornea to make the kick off. Narcis Cornea recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 58th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. Mădălin Furdui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Cornea in the 62nd minute of the match. In the 65th minute the ball was on its way in behind da Giiniz's goalkeeper Mădălin Furdui, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Eduard Tiţe's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Codruț Cristoloveanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 69th minute of play. Mădălin Furdui showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Narcis Cornea in the 71st minute of the match. After 77 minutes, Moise Seţeanu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Teascu and the da Giiniz players grew even worse after the yellow card. In the 77th minute, one of Teascu:s players had the ball in front of the goal but got pushed and fell. The referee felt it was an obvious case and blew a penalty for Teascu. When the match had been going on for 79 minutes, da Giiniz's Cornel Buceceanu got an opportunity to shoot a penalty. He stayed cool and waited for the goalkeeper to move, before he confidently shot the ball into the goal, to the left of Codruț Cristoloveanu. Cornel Buceceanu charged in rather forcefully in the 93rd minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Cornel Buceceanu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play.
