Lucrețiu Levința fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 21st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Tudor Acalinei having to interfere. 26 minutes into the match, Ivan Măgurean notched a goal, 0-2, to the right of Newton Squad ★DAC★'s Aron Ciompec. Aron Ciompec was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. If Iacob Oargă had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 29th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Tudor Acalinei made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Lucrețiu Levința in the 33rd minute of play. In the 38th minute Doru Urducea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Aron Ciompec saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Tudor Acalinei showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Lucrețiu Levința in the 40th minute of the match. After a defensive mix-up in ACS Poli Timisoara's zone, Douglas Veloso stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Tudor Acalinei came out of the goal and Douglas Veloso tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. In the 46th minute, Ivan Măgurean made a precise shot to the right of Aron Ciompec. Newton Squad ★DAC★'s defense was at fault, and the scoreboard reflected the new score, 0-3. The Newton Squad ★DAC★ players were disheartened as they walked off the pitch after the first half. ACS Poli Timisoara were winning 0-3.

The hometeam waved at the audience when it was time for Doru Urducea to strike the kick off in the second half. In the 53rd minute, ACS Poli Timisoara's Doru Urducea dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-4. A collision led to ACS Poli Timisoara getting a freekick after 56 minutes play. Doru Urducea hit a great ball. In the 59th minute the ball was on its way in behind ACS Poli Timisoara's goalkeeper Tudor Acalinei, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. 60 minutes into the match, Newton Squad ★DAC★'s Douglas Veloso sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Tudor Acalinei narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Iustin Medeleanu could have scored with his fast shot on goal in the 61st minute of the match, but Aron Ciompec made a huge save. In the 63rd minute, ACS Poli Timisoara's Damian Chifu dribbled the ball into the box and hit a shot with the outside of his foot, sending the keeper the wrong way. 0-5. In the 69th minute of the match, Ferdinand Bodiu got a very nice opportunity to score, but Aron Ciompec was well-placed and pushed the ball away from the goal at the left post. Ferdinand Bodiu might have been able to make a better finish in the 71st minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Aron Ciompec. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ferdinand Bodiu ran back to his position shaking his head. With a little luck, Newton Squad ★DAC★'s Aron Ciompec got control of the ball when Iustin Medeleanu tried to sneak it across the goal line. Aron Ciompec made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Ivan Măgurean in the 75th minute of play. Ferdinand Bodiu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 97th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Aron Ciompec having to interfere. When the final whistle was heard the away supporters stood up and showed their joy. ACS Poli Timisoara had managed to secure a win in what was a close match throughout.
