The break gave the players a chance to catch their breath, whilst the managers went over the tactics with them again.

The wind increased when Iustinian Dorlea made the kick off in the second half. If Stelian Curuțiu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 54th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Mugur Vişoiu showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Gică Lucan, who was totally free with the ball in the 56th minute. The Fc Farul 1983 fans' excitement grew in the 59th match minute when Fc Farul 1983's Gică Lucan looked to have a clear shot with the ball near the goal. In the 78th minute Gică Lucan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Vişoiu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With an extended leg and a bit of luck Mugur Vişoiu prevented the ball from getting in the gole. Corneliu Şteţ took a chance and fired a shot far from the goal in the 92nd minute, but it turned out to be a dangerous situation for Mugur Vişoiu. FC Dinamo Slatina's goalkeeper really had to stretch himself to stop the ball from crossing the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Gică Lucan in the 94th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Mugur Vişoiu saved FC Dinamo Slatina from getting behind. In the 94th minute, Stelian Curuțiu hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. 95 minutes into the game, Albert Ostoici was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player.
