Spectators: 5147 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 147) Alin Cristocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Liviu Burdujan in the 4th minute of play. 6 minutes into the match, Matei Frățilă notched a goal, 0-1, to the right of STR's Olimpiu Voinea. Olimpiu Voinea was clearly disgusted with the effort of the defense and let the defenders know about it. In the 16th minute, Pompiliu Finteșteanu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Alin Cristocea was frozen by the shot and now it was 1-1. After 21 played minutes Saciova got a freekick which was hit by Iulian Măgureanu. Matei Frățilă succeeded in the game's 23rd minute to shoot an unreachable shot under the crossbar and scored - 1-2. After 29 minutes, Sorin Manolescu mouthed his way into the referee's book. The tension between the Saciova and the STR players grew even worse after the yellow card. After 29 played minutes Saciova got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Manolescu. Matei Frățilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 35th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. After 38 played minutes Saciova got a freekick which was hit by Grigore Ciocârlan. Olimpiu Voinea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Matei Frățilă in the 43rd minute of the match. Sorin Manolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 49th minute. Olimpiu Voinea tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Even after changing tactics the home team jogged off the field with a 1-2 deficit. They would have to work harder if they wanted to turn things around in the second half.

Both teams looked relatively alert before the second half when the referee blew his whistle to tell Matei Frățilă to make the kick off. Matei Frățilă sent away a hard shot on goal in the 55th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Olimpiu Voinea came out of the goal in the 57th minute to try and stop a shot by Saciova's Sorin Manolescu. But to his dismay, Sorin Manolescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-3. After having played for 75 minutes, Liviu Burdujan managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. STR's supporters crossed their fingers, but Liviu Burdujan was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. 83 minutes into the match, Saciova's goal looked a bit too open when Pompiliu Finteșteanu came free, but Alin Cristocea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. Liviu Burdujan blasted a shot towards the goal in the 85th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Alin Cristocea having to make a save. After a defensive mix-up in Saciova's zone, Liviu Burdujan stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Alin Cristocea came out of the goal and Liviu Burdujan tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Liviu Burdujan might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Alin Cristocea. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Liviu Burdujan ran back to his position shaking his head. Saciova's Alin Cristocea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Pompiliu Finteșteanu in the 95th minute of play. Liviu Burdujan fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 96th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Alin Cristocea having to interfere. Alin Cristocea showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Liviu Burdujan, who was totally free with the ball in the 98th minute. In the 98th minute, Grigore Ciocârlan hit a crossing free kick to the open man running down the field. Saciova's fans were overjoyed with their teams well-earned victory and stayed in the stadium long after the final whistle to celebrate the win.
