Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) STR's Liviu Burdujan started the match with a crisp pass. The crowd had been anticipating this game for weeks and the excitement in the stadium was easily visible. The audience thought a goal was coming when Dacian Sucigan got free with Olimpiu Voinea in the 5th minute, but the goalkeeper managed to catch the ball with a huge effort. Dacian Sucigan in the 7thth minute had a little luck and got a chance for a shot in front of the goal. Without hesitation aimed to the right of Olimpiu Voinea, who managed to lunge to the right direction and made a save. A collision led to STR getting a freekick after 8 minutes play. Claudiu Dulfu hit a great ball. STR's Olimpiu Voinea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Dacian Sucigan in the 10th minute of play. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Vali Ghionaru during the 12th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. A collision led to STR getting a freekick after 12 minutes play. Vali Ghionaru hit a great ball. Dacian Sucigan recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 14th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 15 minutes into the game, Aurelian Costescu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. STR's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave Cosevita the free kick. The supporters of Cosevita booed when STR was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 15 match minutes in a wonderful position. Aurelian Costescu didn't get a good kick on the ball. In the 23rd minute Dacian Sucigan shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Olimpiu Voinea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Sucigan in the 25th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olimpiu Voinea saved STR from getting behind. Sagrario Azuela showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Liviu Burdujan in the 26th minute of the match. Pompiliu Finteșteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 31st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Azuela having to interfere. When the match had gone on for 33 minutes, Eugen Homeag took a quick shot and it went in 2-1 without a chance for Olimpiu Voinea to make any attempt to save it. After 37 played minutes STR got a freekick which was hit by Aurelian Costescu. Olimpiu Voinea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dan Cinteză, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Eugen Homeag sent away a hard shot on goal in the 45th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Dacian Sucigan was the one to do the kick off. When Cosevita's Dacian Sucigan in the 52nd minute got a chance for a shot 52nd didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye STR's goalie prevented a goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Dacian Sucigan in the 53rd managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Olimpiu Voinea saved STR from getting behind. Olimpiu Voinea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Dacian Sucigan in the 54th minute of play. Cosevita's Sagrario Azuela proved his good apprehension of play when he, in the 56th minute of the match, managed to save Cosevita from getting a goal against them. In the 61st minute, Dacian Sucigan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olimpiu Voinea was frozen by the shot and now it was 4-1. In the 67th minute, Dacian Sucigan ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Olimpiu Voinea was frozen by the shot and now it was 5-1. Olimpiu Voinea stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Dacian Sucigan's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. Pompiliu Finteșteanu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 81st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Sagrario Azuela having to interfere. Sagrario Azuela was out of position in the 82 minute of play, and Tudor Vasilache capitalized on the mistake with a soft shot into the goal. Tudor Vasilache really showed his touch with that goal: 5-2. Claudiu Dulfu hit a great freekick 89 minutes into the match. Dan Cinteză struck a weak shot in the 90th minute. Olimpiu Voinea didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Cosevita. Dacian Sucigan took the ball and in the 93 minute, shot a rapid shot to the right of a surprised Olimpiu Voinea. Olimpiu Voinea dived to the right, and did manage to get a hand on the shot, but it still went into the right corner making it 7-2. When the referee ended the match the Cosevita players were able to celebrate. They had won a fair victory and recieved the ovations of their fans.
