After 6 minutes of play, the referee blew the whistle. It was a penalty for Saciova! In the 17th minute the ball was on its way in behind A.C. VINOS's goalkeeper Dinu Covaliu, but with the help of a sacrificing defense, he could catch the ball at the crossbar. Sorin Manolescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 20th minute. Dinu Covaliu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Gigi Voica kicked well hit freekick during the 21st minute of the match. 23 minutes into the match, Saciova's Sorin Manolescu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Dinu Covaliu narrowly saved just below the crossbar. Constantin Boaru recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 25th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. 30 minutes into the game, Iulian Măgureanu was given a yellow card after he appeared to trip an opposing player. Saciova's manager was livid on the sidelines, but the referee was unmoved and gave A.C. VINOS the free kick. A collision led to Saciova getting a freekick after 31 minutes play. Iulian Măgureanu hit a great ball. If Marian Amarandei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 33rd minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. Alin Cristocea made a fantastic save in the 38th minute, when Marian Amarandei sent off a good shot on target. 40 minutes into the game, one of Saciova:s players got tackled near the goal, and the referee blew for a penalty. Grigore Ciocârlan struck a weak shot in the 44th minute. Dinu Covaliu didn't even have to move as the ball rolled over the line well wide of the goal. A wasted opportunity for Saciova. A.C. VINOS's Marian Amarandei got a good chance for a goal in the 47th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. The home fans were very happy to see their team leading 2-0 at half-time.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Constantin Boaru was the one to do the kick off. When Constantin Boaru, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 54 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Alin Cristocea was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. In the 56th minute Constantin Boaru shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Alin Cristocea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Marian Amarandei had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After 61 played minutes Saciova got a freekick which was hit by Matei Frățilă. The crowd rose to their feet as Saciova's Sorin Manolescu slotted home a wonderful shot that went in to the left of Dinu Covaliu. That made the score 2-1 after 67 minutes of play. After 70 played minutes Saciova got a freekick which was hit by Sorin Manolescu. In the 73rd minute, Constantin Boaru got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Constantin Boaru in the 76th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Alin Cristocea saved Saciova from getting behind. If Sorin Manolescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 80th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 91 minutes into the match, A.C. VINOS's goalkeeper Dinu Covaliu had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Sorin Manolescu. Alin Cristocea showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Marian Amarandei in the 92nd minute of the match. Alin Cristocea made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Constantin Boaru in the 93rd minute of play. Sorin Manolescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 94th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Dinu Covaliu having to interfere. After having played for 97 minutes, Sorin Manolescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Saciova's supporters crossed their fingers, but Sorin Manolescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. The final whistle blew with the score still tied, and both teams left the pitch thinking about the missed chances that could have given their team the win.
