The referee showed Marin Dănilă the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. But to his dismay, Costel Dobrescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 1-0. 37 minutes into the match, Scaioi CSS's goalkeeper Felix Ştiopul had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Costel Dobrescu. When Edgar Cărtărescu, who was free, got the in front of the goal in the 41 minute he wasn't focused and tipped the ball just over the goal. The Felix Ştiopul was delighted since the ball would have got in if it had gone under the crossbar. A hard shot 45 in the game by Edgar Cărtărescu from a close distance when the talented Felix Ştiopul managed to make a qualified save. Scaioi CSS's players were relieved.
