Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) Dark clouds were building up when the players entered the field. None of the them looked very eager to play. Manuel Mercea started the match with the kick off. In the 3rd minute, Manuel Mercea left the goalkeeper for dead before tapping the ball into the right side of the net. The Boceni fans were clearly happy with the effort and the scoreboard reflected the new score: 0-1. After 9 played minutes Boceni got a freekick which was hit by Dorin Șipoș. After a defensive mix-up in Boceni's zone, Ernest Vlaicu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Ionuț Zmărăndache came out of the goal and Ernest Vlaicu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Corneliu Armeanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 11th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. 13 minutes into the match, Boceni's goalkeeper Ionuț Zmărăndache had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Ernest Vlaicu. After 16 played minutes Boceni got a freekick which was hit by Ioan Zamfira. Ionuț Zmărăndache took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Ernest Vlaicu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. 21 minutes into the match, Iliesi's goal looked a bit too open when Manuel Mercea came free, but Mugurel Gheondea reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. 21 minutes into the game, Manuel Mercea cracked a shot to the right of the goalkeeper, 0-2. Mugurel Gheondea was not in position, and could only watch the ball fly in. Edgar Maghiar sent away a hard shot on goal in the 28th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Iliesi's Mugurel Gheondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Mercea in the 33rd minute of play. After a rather tough play, Iliesi's Augustin Şunda got a free kick in the 35th minute. In the 42nd minute Manuel Mercea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugurel Gheondea saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. After 43 played minutes Iliesi got a freekick which was hit by Corneliu Armeanca. In the 46th match minute, Iliesi was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Corneliu Armeanca to maneuver through the defense.

The players of the away team seemed most concentrated when Ernest Vlaicu stepped up to make the kick off in the second half. Corneliu Armeanca sent away a hard shot on goal in the 51st minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. In the 55th minute Ernest Vlaicu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Ionuț Zmărăndache saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Ionuț Zmărăndache made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Corneliu Armeanca in the 56th minute of play. Boceni's Ionuț Zmărăndache played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Ernest Vlaicu in the 58th minute of play. Mugurel Gheondea took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Manuel Mercea, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Ernest Vlaicu might have been able to make a better finish in the 72nd minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Ionuț Zmărăndache. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Ernest Vlaicu ran back to his position shaking his head. 72 minutes into the match, Iliesi's Ernest Vlaicu sent off a blazing shot straight on target, a shot that Ionuț Zmărăndache narrowly saved just below the crossbar. A collision led to Boceni getting a freekick after 80 minutes play. Ernest Corlățean hit a great ball. Iliesi's Mugurel Gheondea played magnificently when he managed to stop the ball from hitting the goal, after a sharp shot by Manuel Mercea in the 85th minute of play. Iliesi's Ernest Vlaicu got a good chance for a goal in the 88th minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. An unexpectedly hard shot by Manuel Mercea in the 94th minute of play forced Iliesi's goalkeeper Mugurel Gheondea to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. When the final whistle went the supporters of Boceni were delighted that their team had defeated the much more dominant Iliesi side.
