Spectators: 6728 (Terracing: 5000, Seating: 1728, VIP seats: 0) Niculae Ciorăscu started the match with the kick off in front of an excited audience. In the 4th minute Dinu Cernat shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Mugur Iftode saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Anton Anghelescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 6th minute. Liviu Ioanițiu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The referee gave Pihnesti a penalty, 8 minutes into the game. The penalty shot was made by Paul Hrușcă, who made a well placed shot into the net to the right of Olosig CF's Liviu Ioanițiu. 1-0. In the 11th minute, Anton Anghelescu got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Mugur Iftode took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Dinu Cernat, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. When Dinu Cernat came up free with the goalie in the 15th minute, the Olosig CF fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Dinu Cernat couldn't finish the play. After a defensive mix-up in Pihnesti's zone, Valentin Titulescu stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Mugur Iftode came out of the goal and Valentin Titulescu tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. When Anton Anghelescu came up free with the goalie in the 30th minute, the Pihnesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Anton Anghelescu couldn't finish the play. After 36 played minutes Pihnesti got a freekick which was hit by Codrin Boc. In the 39th minute, Dinu Cernat got an opportunity to score, but he didn't get a solid hit on the ball and ended up kicking it wide of the goal. Valentin Titulescu's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Mugur Iftode read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 41st minute of play. 43 minutes into the match, Pihnesti's goal looked a bit too open when Valentin Titulescu came free, but Mugur Iftode reached the ball before it rolled over the goal line. When Olosig CF's Valentin Titulescu in the 46th minute got a chance for a shot 46th didn't hesitate and placed the ball to the right of the goalie. A beautiful save bye Pihnesti's goalie prevented a goal. In the 47th minute, Mădălin Buciuceanu had to leave the field with a concussion. Niculae Tănasă's late challenge caught a Olosig CF's player on the shin and left him crawling around in pain. The referee blew his whistle and produced the yellow card. Niculae Tănasă helped the player get up and apologised. Af the end of the first half the score was 1-0. The first half had gone as expected for the home team.

The audience was convinced that Niculae Ciorăscu's extremely hard shot when he got free in front of the goal was going in, but Liviu Ioanițiu was relentless in the 54th minute of the game. When Ovidiu Manciu came up free with the goalie in the 57th minute, the Pihnesti fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Ovidiu Manciu couldn't finish the play. After some fancy dribbling in the 58th minute, Dinu Cernat managed to get in a good position for a shot. Olosig CF's supporters rose to their feet, but Dinu Cernat was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Mugur Iftode breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. If Niculae Ciorăscu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 60th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iacob Alupoaie fell near the penalty area in the 62nd minute he thought he would be awarded a free kick. The referee ignored Olosig CF's protests and gave Iacob Alupoaie a yellow card for diving instead. In the 62nd match minute, Olosig CF was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Iacob Alupoaie to maneuver through the defense. If Dinu Cernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 65th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Iacob Alupoaie received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 69th minute. Mugur Iftode tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Dinu Cernat recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 78th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 82nd minute, Anton Anghelescu ran past the defenders and hit a shot which went straight ahead into goal. Liviu Ioanițiu was frozen by the shot and now it was 2-0. Mugur Iftode didn't have a chance when a screaming shot from Iacob Aelenei went, in the 90th minute, to the upper right corner, 2-1 was the resulting score. If Dinu Cernat had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 96th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. After a rather tough play, Olosig CF's Iacob Alupoaie got a free kick in the 98th minute. After 99 played minutes, Pihnesti's Paul Hrușcă shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Liviu Ioanițiu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Pihnesti reached it. Pihnesti's supporters were highly satisfied with the result. They cheered their team of the pitch, having watched them win a very even match.
