Spectators: 5000 (Terracing: 4000, Seating: 1000, VIP seats: 0) The mood of the audience was pleasant when Romeo Bulă made the kick off which started today's match. Dorel Bușcu came out of the goal in the 4th minute to try and stop a shot by Sigau's Codruț Grămescu. But to his dismay, Codruț Grămescu quickly shot the ball in between his legs and into the goal making it 0-1. With a couple of smart ball manuevers Petre Răduța in the 13th managed to get into a good position. With a left leg Dorel Bușcu saved Doaga from getting behind. After some fancy dribbling in the 18th minute, Codruț Grămescu managed to get in a good position for a shot. Sigau's supporters rose to their feet, but Codruț Grămescu was a bit off balance and shot the ball just wide of the left post. Dorel Bușcu breathed a sigh of relief and went to take the goal kick. Sigau's Alexandru Buzea got a good chance for a goal in the 23rd minute, but he totally mistimed the shot and it went over the crossbar. In the 26th minute Alexandru Buzea shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dorel Bușcu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. Iurie Daimacă showed his good apprehension of the play when he made a fantastic save on a shot from Romeo Bulă, who was totally free with the ball in the 28th minute. The supporters of Sigau booed when Doaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 29 match minutes in a wonderful position. Cornel Horodincă didn't get a good kick on the ball. Daniel Gruia kicked well hit freekick during the 32nd minute of the match. 36 minutes into the match, Sigau's goalkeeper Iurie Daimacă had to clear away a ball on his right side after a cunning shot by Daniel Gruia. In the 44th minute, Doaga's Romeo Bulă ran free of his marker and smoothly shot the ball into the goal behind Iurie Daimacă. Iurie Daimacă yelled at his defense, as they had left him out to dry. 1-1. After fighting hard for a draw in the first half, the players were able to take a much needed rest.

When the second half was about to start, both teams quickly lined up and Petre Răduța made a kick off. The supporters of Sigau booed when Doaga was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 53 match minutes in a wonderful position. Octavian Ozon didn't get a good kick on the ball. After 54 played minutes, Sigau's Laurențiu Mălin shot from a long distance, and at first it looked like the ball was going into the goal, but the goalkeeper Dorel Bușcu came through and got his fingers on the ball before it flew over the goal line. He then quickly gripped the ball tighter before the forwards in Sigau reached it. After 58 minutes of play, Doaga's Daniel Gruia made it 2-1 when he simply outclassed the defender marking him and hit a curling shot into the right side of the net. Iurie Daimacă was left in no man's land by his defense there! Iurie Daimacă showed brilliant goalkeeper skills when he caught the ball after a hard shot from Romeo Bulă in the 63rd minute of the match. Octavian Ozon kicked well hit freekick during the 65th minute of the match. With a little luck, Doaga's Dorel Bușcu got control of the ball when Petre Răduța tried to sneak it across the goal line. Ion Beca lost his temper 71 minutes into the game and shoved another player to the ground. He was immediately shown a red card. Ion Beca hit a great freekick 71 minutes into the match. Dorel Bușcu made an important save on a dangerous shot by Petre Răduța in the 84th minute. If Daniel Gruia had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 86th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. 5-1 became the score in the 87th minute when Daniel Gruia elegantly shot the ball into goal just under the crossbar. Daniel Gruia received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Iurie Daimacă tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. The crowd rose to their feet and cheered when the referee blew the final whistle. Doaga had won after a very even match.
