After a rather tough play, Puesti CSM's Iustinian Răchiteanu got a free kick in the 22nd minute. After 50 played minutes Puesti CSM got a freekick which was hit by Francisc Flamaropol. Iustinian Grămescu received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 54th minute. Dan Novăceanu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. In the 56th minute Mihail Albu shot on, it seemed, an open goal, but Dan Novăceanu saw the ball coming and threw himself on it before it passed the goal line. If Iustinian Grămescu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 59th minute. The ball went over the crossbar and out instead. When Iustinian Grămescu came up free with the goalie in the 63rd minute, the Puesti CSM fans jumped to their feet. But the shot missed the goal by a fraction of an inch, and the fans sat back down disappointed that Iustinian Grămescu couldn't finish the play. Valer Fetanu made a wonderful reflex save on a shot from Florin Strugure in the 65th minute of play. Francisc Flamaropol's shot was meant for the net just under the crossbar, but Dan Novăceanu read the situation well and was quickly in position to make a wonderful save in the 66th minute of play. After 67 played minutes Clit AFC got a freekick which was hit by Aurel Geangu. Francisc Flamaropol sent away a hard shot on goal in the 70th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. After a defensive mix-up in Clit AFC's zone, Francisc Flamaropol stole the ball and had only the goalie to beat. Dan Novăceanu came out of the goal and Francisc Flamaropol tried to chip the ball over his head. To his dismay, the ball went over the crossbar and out of play. Francisc Flamaropol might have been able to make a better finish in the 94th minute when he tried to place a hard shot over Dan Novăceanu. Instead the ball went over the crossbar and out. Francisc Flamaropol ran back to his position shaking his head.
