Spectators: 7340 (Terracing: 5507, Seating: 1688, VIP seats: 145) The sun was shining, the grass was green and the audience cheered when Viorel Pencu got the match started through his kick off. Viorel Pencu blasted a shot towards the goal in the 5th minute, but the shot hit the top of the crossbar and went out without Nicodim Spelbu having to make a save. Călin Bungescu recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 8th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. In the 11th match minute, Fc Caucaz was awarded a freekick, the ball was picked up by Constantin Bârlă to maneuver through the defense. After having played for 17 minutes, Călin Bungescu managed to get in a good position for a shot on goal. Fc Caucaz's supporters crossed their fingers, but Călin Bungescu was, after a quick turn that froze the defenders, out of balance and shot the ball just to the right of the goal. An unexpectedly hard shot by Costin Ursu in the 21st minute of play forced Luneile AS's goalkeeper Gică Magherescu to throw himself to the left, to be able to save the ball. With a little luck, Luneile AS's Gică Magherescu got control of the ball when Călin Bungescu tried to sneak it across the goal line. After 28th play minutes Viorel Pencu shot 0-1, a short shot which went by Nicodim Spelbu and just under the crossbar into goal. Călin Bungescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 41st minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Magherescu having to interfere. If Viorel Pencu had kept his shot down it would have been a goal in the 46th minute. The ball went over the crossbar instead. Cătălin Encica recieved an excellent pass in front of the goal in the 49th minute. Unfortunately, he received the ball on his off foot and could only manage a weak shot that went over the goal. After the first half Luneile AS were leading 0-1. They had played with great self confidence throughout the first half and fully deserved their lead.

The players of the home team were most fresh-looking when they entered the field to play the second half. Costin Ursu was the one to do the kick off. Gică Magherescu took care of the ball after a well-directed shot from Costin Ursu, even though the ball almost passed him on his left side. Călin Bungescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 64th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Magherescu having to interfere. Lucrețiu Robu charged in rather forcefully in the 66th minute of the match, and managed to knock his opponent down. The referee showed Lucrețiu Robu the yellow card, and asked the players to shake hands before continuing play. Dorin Avădanei's shot when he came free in front of the goal in the 68thth minute, Nicodim Spelbu skillfully showed off with a save to what seemed to be an obvious goal. Călin Bungescu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 71st minute, but the ball hit the crossbar and went out. A very good chance for a goal. Gică Magherescu stood for a superb save when he managed to get hold of Costin Ursu's shot from short distance in the 74th minute. The referee was alert and spotted a serious foul by Manole Uncheşu during the 75th minute. The player immediately received a yellow card. The supporters of Fc Caucaz booed when Luneile AS was adjudged a doubtful freekick after 75 match minutes in a wonderful position. Manole Uncheşu didn't get a good kick on the ball. Viorel Pencu sent away a hard shot on goal in the 90th minute, but the ball went just over the crossbar and out. A very good chance. Dorin Avădanei received a nice pass in the box and took a hard shot in the 96th minute. Nicodim Spelbu tensed up and prepared to dive, but the shot went over the goal with him having to interfere. Călin Bungescu fired away a screaming shot towards the goal in the 99th minute, but the shot went just over the crossbar without Gică Magherescu having to interfere.
